Travellers Oasis

Cairns, Australia

Great Hostel for a chill time. Staff are wonderful, they are all very helpful with anything such as organizing tours. Rooms are clean and bathrooms are always clean. It has 2 kitchens which is great so it is never crowded. Cheap transfer from the airport only cost be $5 from FNQ which is great. Only a 5 minute walk to the center of the city. Would definitely recommend for people that want a relaxed staff in Cairns.

Great hostel with good facilities, big kitchen lots of computers.a wall with the events on every night which is great and tours they offer. Would recommend!

Wild Rover Backpackers

Good party hostel, however useless hostel in terms of backpacking. Tour agency there were terrible telling us they booked a tour to uyuni with English speaking tour, the bus from the station left 2 hours later then the time they told us and the tour didnt have a single english speaking guide.DONT USE THE TOURISM PLACE IN THERE! Staff were very unhelpful,my girlfriend got robbed and we asked if we could use their phone to call our bank and they said kitchen.clean bathrooms.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

The hostel is located not to far from Copacabana beach only about 4 blocks away which is great. I stayed in a 9 person dorm and it seems they have tried to cram too many beds into one little room, i ended being put in the top of the triple decker bunk bed and there was barely enough space to sit up without hitting your head or any place to keep your luggage on the floor, however each bed had a powerpoint which was good. Breakfast was average bread and jam and cereal. small kitchen.

Hostel Galeria 13

Salvador, Brazil

Tottally amazing. This is a place where everyone must stay. Staff paolo and alberto are soo helpful, and they have a little book for a variety of activities. Free caiprinha in the afternoon is great. Outside pool which is great in the heat. Alot of space in the dorm and its air conditioned. Love this place.also if you are scared of dogs maybe not the place for you, 2 dogs are the mascot zulu and spatan.

Hotel Europa Puno

Puno, Peru

This place was near the market and main square so It had a great locarion. The main owner kept trying to sell us tickets to lake titicaca and seems to get mad at us because we didnt eat breakfast, its not like he had to do much it was just bread and jam. The rooms we good though warm showers and clean.hotel seemed really empty though so was a bit scary.

We stayed in a private room and it was great no issues. Breakfast was basic but can ask for eggs for a bit extra and they just place the charge on your tab which makes paying soo easy. It has a quiet atmosphere which is good if you are looking to relax. They hve board games which Is great such as jenga, mastermind, cludeo and many more. Also have a guitar if you wanna play some tunes. 2 computers with fast internet, was able to upload alot of photos within minutes. No wifi in rooms though
