I have stayed in lots of hostels all over Europe and South America and this is definitely one if my all time favorites!! It us beautifully decorated, very clean, in a great location and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Apartment Presidential Palace

Bratislava, Slovakia

We greatly enjoyed our stay! Apartment was fully furnished and very clean. 5 minute walk to city center. Highly recommended!

Grand Hostel Berlin

Berlin, Germany

Good hostel overall, nice big and clean rooms. Noise carried easily and our neighbors were extremely loud, slamming doors at all hours of the night. We thought it was a bit overpriced for what we got.

Guesthouse Mary

Dubrovnik, Croatia

A lovely place to stay in Dubrovnik! Very clean and a 2 minute walk to a bus that will take you anywhere you want to go. It is also a short walk to a beach area and lots of shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

El Baile de La Iguana

Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica

We had a great stay here. David was very friendly and helpful in recommending restaurants and tours. The location is great - by a grocery store, restaurants and the bus stop that will take you straight to Manuel Antonio (although we ended up seeing more wildlife on the hike to the beach recommended by David!). You also can't beat the price, especially in the Manuel Antonio area. Highly recommended!

Cabinas Eddy

Monteverde, Costa Rica

Highly recommend Cabinas Eddy! We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is such a good value - clean, hot water, great breakfast for a very low price. The owner was extremely helpful in booking tours, and offered us a discount on every single tour (unlike other places we stayed, where they tried to rip us off), so definitely wait to book through them. The location was also great, close to the center of town, restaurants, etc. and across the street from the bus stop to monteverde reserve.

Arenal Hostel Resort

La Fortuna, Costa Rica

I wasn't very impressed with this hostel, especially given the price. It seemed like management was only interested in the bottom line (eg $5 for breakfast) . The staff tried to rip us off with tours too - among other things they quoted us $25 for the boat jeep boat to monteverde, and we paid $15 for the exact same thing from a tour booth literally a block a way...very questionable. Overall the grounds were nice and rooms clean, but definitely shop around before booking tours through them.
