The room was very nice, they are in the middle of renovations. The toilet was filthy and tiny. THe commonroom was very dirty as well, but the location was very good, a few minutes walk from the center of town.
It was cool to stay in an old convent but it was very expensive for a bare minimum - small room with bed, window, and sink, toilet was down the hall and down a floor. GENT however is amazing and the location was a short walk from the old city center. It was a private room, though, so I guess that is the cause for the price.
Cute staying in an old monastery, but the toilet was down the hall down one floor. Thin walls, basics but with a serious price tag.
Really basic, but the price is right. Not in the city center, but close public transport and quiet area. Good female vibe, really nice staff.
It is a very nice hostel but the staff was a bit strict and not very friendly and my friend was robbed in his room. Certainly worth staying here, just watch out for your stuff and come with your own friends.
So so nice! Beautiful bathroom, nice beds, great location for the museums, right on the tramline for the rest of the city.
The staff was very nice, really pleasant, but because they are all volunteers none of them really knew Amsterdam well to answer simple location and transportation questions. The room was bare essentials and my pillowcase had bloodstains! It did not feel clean, but they were rigorous about safety and the included breakfast was nice!
What an amazing hostel! It is more like a hotel! So clean, spacious, pleasant, and the breakfast is really a great value for the cost. Definitely the best hostel I have ever seen! I will definitely tell all my friends! The location is a 10 min walk from the city center, near multiple trams! Could not be beat!
