Great little hostel tucked away in the hills of Hvar. About a 10-15 minute walk to the old town center. Dink who I believe manages the place most of the year was away while I was there, but Peter (Papa Dink, his father) was there, super accommodating and very helpful. His english isn't great, but he is very knowledgeable about the area and will give you good recommendations. He also let us leave our bags there the day after we checked out so we could spend the day on Hvar. Definitely recommend.
Awesome Hostel in Spilt. Right in the main square of town, by the bell tower, it was about a 10 minute walk from the ferry/bus station. The staff was super helpful, particularly Steve who gave us lots of recommendations and even went out with us one night. Great bang for buck, 100 Kuna which is like $18.00 doesn't get much better. It has almost a big apartment feel as there are only 4 different bedrooms and then one living/common room and kitchen. Definitely would recommend to any travelers.
Cool little hostel, sort of hidden behind a restaurant, but there are plenty of signs to find it. It's right off the Senefelderplatz stop which is nice when coming back from a night out. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The common area was more of a sit and check your email, which was kinda of a bummer as I'd like to meet people there. They have an outside courtyard which is really nice, but we didn't get to take much advantage of because of the weather.
So we we're sort of burnt of staying in hostels when we got to Paris and wanted to stay in a nice cheap hostel. The staff was helpful and friendly, but the location sucks. Other than being close to the Eiffel Tower, there isn't much to do around the hotel. The train is right across the street, so it's easy to get places, but had we known how dead it would be at night(maybe it was because it was August), we would of stayed elsewhere.
Definitely a fun party hostel, the bar/restaurant downstairs was always packed and it was super easy to meet tons of people. The food at Belushi's was decent and cheap which was good later at night or if you we're trying to eat budget. The beds were comfy and the curtains around them was nice addition. The cleaning lady wasn't the friendliest and she came in around noon every day and turned on all the lights and blinds regardless if you were sleeping or not, not fun when you're partying late.
