For £13 a night in a dorm in the middle of Dublin it's great for one night but I wouldn't want to spend any longer. The washrooms could really do with an update. Not many plugs for charging in the rooms. Close to Temple Bar and toast and tea for breakfast included.
Pros Good location Place was very clean and the 4th floor kitchen/lounge area is good. Just a shame there isn't a big window to see the square. Cons Locker 1 in room D is broken and i'm sure this isn't the first time they've heard it. Luckily there was no one else in my room so I could swap beds/lockers. If you decide to leave luggage with them till you check in/leave there isn't a locked cupboard, it just goes behind the desk. Quiet curfew rules were not adhered to. Didn't sleep well.
You can't actually get a better location than this in Budapest. It's on the street next to the Basilica and Deak Ter metro station is a short 5 min walk away. The staff were welcoming and always greeted you with a smile. We stayed in the basic double bedroom with shared bathroom. The room was clean and we were provided with a duvet each which was perfect for us. Towels also provided. Bathroom floor upstairs gets quite wet after a shower so do take flipflops or go barefoot! Can't wait to go back!
Really enjoyed the two night stay in Vienna. Stayed in a 6 bed female dorm. The room was spacious and the bathroom was shared between the 6 of us. All clean and modern finish. Only small downside is there isn't anywhere to hang your towel in the bathroom when you have a shower. The hostel has a good relaxing feel about it with lots of sofas and places to chill on the ground floor. Staff were also really helpful with directions. Free tour from Naschmarkt Wombats wasn't brilliant though.
Stayed in the female 4 bed dorm. The hostel was ok but I think the bathroom facilities need a bit of an update. There were no locks for the showers - only curtains which for a female traveller was a little disconcerting. It is not too far away from the old town (about 10mins walk). The hostel itself is quite clean and there are large lockers within the the rooms for bags etc.
Really enjoyed our stay in Prague. The hostel is very lively in the evenings with a good atmosphere. We stayed in the 26 bed female dorm which was really clean and the shared showers and toilets were a very high standard for a hostel. Also went on the free walking tour which I would recommend to understand more about the history of Prague and also learn more about the cuisine and beer!
