Great hostel. The hosts are very nice and helpful. They helped us arrange treks and bus tickets for a great place. Also put us onto a great restaurant nearby where you make your own spring rolls. Hostel is in a pretty good spot, a comfortable walk to the market and centre of town - but it's far from the lake/park. But a brilliant hostel, highly recommended.

My My Arthouse

Hostel is in a great spot, walking distance to most tourist atteactions, including markets war museum and art gallery. Price is reasonable for a spacious clean room with a standard Asian bathroom. The security is appalling. You must give them the key each time you leave. We came back from a day out to find our door wide open and laptops stolen from our packs. Three other people had stuff stolen that day. Staff were laughing and joking with police the whole time we were filing our reports.

Sihome Backpackers Hostel

Great atmosphere and the hosts bend over backwards to make sure you enjoy your stay in Vientiane. Pool table and film room are great. Probably the best hostel breakfast I've experienced also. It's on the fringe of the city centre, but everything is within walking distance. Not the cheapest hostel, but Worthwhile due to the new facilities and great atmosphere.
