Hostal Talar

The location of the hostel was about a 10 min walk from town and hard to find. Jessica one min she would be nice to us the next should we be scolding us. One night we made dinner, washed our dishes and asked Jessica if we could go watch the sunset and dry the dishes after we got back. She said NO, we missed the entire sunset. I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this hostel, take your business to someone with actual customer service.

Great location to town and breakfast each morning is great addition. Overall a pretty quiet hostel, but goes with the atmosphere of the island. The kitchen is functional but not great if you need to use it. The wifi is pretty awful so don't expect it work, but on the island you don't need it much. For the price and location I would definitely recommend the hostel!

Wonderful hostel in a great little town! Staff was so welcoming and helpful! Let us use the kitchen and told us a bunch of things we could do in and around the town. Lots of great hiking walking distance from the hostel and great convenience to Machu Picchu! Overall great experience and would definitely recommend the hostel!
