Located in a safe neighbourhood with locks to get into premises and then the building. Kitchen small but fine. Space outside to sit. Tv room and free computer which was good. Staff pretty helpful. A short walk into the centre and supermarket nearby. Need to fix the creaky floors! Our room (double) was large and nice.

Great location - near bus stop and iSite. Super friendly and helpful staff who advised on trips and gave money off vouchers. Free unlimited wifi and cheap use of desktop computers. Big common rooms and large well equipped kitchen. Staff even gave us home cooked cakes and popcorn. Very large lockers though we had a private room so didn't need them. One of the best hostels we have stayed in!

Location is a 10 minute walk from bus stop/iSite. When we arrived the guy on reception couldn't get rid of us quick enough. Not much atmosphere and no staff to be found the next morning when we checked out so we just left our key. Communal toilets/showers were ok and reasonably clean. An ok hostel, nothing special - fine for a one night stay/stopover.

Located a little bit out of the centre (15 minute walk) but they offer a free shuttle bus and pick-up from bus station. Helpful staff, laundry facilities and movie showing every night which was good. Double room was big and clean enough. All in all a pretty decent hostel.

Stayed in a 4-bed dorm which had en-suite bathroom. Room decent size. Kitchen very small as was common room. Staff helpful, has laundry facilities and outdoor seating. About 30 minutes from CBD but supermarket and some bars/restaurants nearby. Wifi pretty terrible. All in all an ok stay, pretty standard prices for Oz. Plenty of folk going out but less of a party hostel than some of the others on the same street.

Nicely decorated rooms and common area etc. Good location in Chinatown right next to a metro. Our room (a double) was large and bright though they need to invest in curtains as it was so bright that it prevented us from sleeping. Showers and toilets were nice and clean. Wifi was good, we didn't have any problems. Breakfast was just toast which was fine.

We stayed in a private room. Only 1 toilet/shower for entire floor. Free breakfast was toast which was good enough and lasted til 12. Wifi pretty good. Location only a few minutes from metro and a few stops from downtown (Orchard Road etc). Staff friendly.

Room was ok, very small so not much space for our bags. Clean enough but not amazing. bShower wasn't that great and wouldn't stay up on the wall. 5/10 minutes walk from Khaosan Road. Quite hard to find the hostel. Nearby mosque very noisy in the morning. Guy at reception was helpful and there was a shared computer for use for free (rare in Thailand!). All in all fine - you get what you pay for.

Good location just inside city walls and five minutes walk from Saturday/Sunday walking market. Bars etc nearby😁. Room was basic but a decent size - curtains were paper thin though so hard to sleep. They kept forgetting to clean our room so we had to keep asking for clean towels and toilet paper. Woman at reception was really helpful booking tours. Overall fine place to stay for the money. We stayed for a week but we just couldn't be bothered moving - it was good enough!

Really nice hostel set in a lovely garden area. Five minute walk from main strip. Rooms were decent sized and clean. Guy on reception was really friendly and helpful - suggested hostel in Vientiane. Breakfast at hostel was good (you have to pay separately). WIFI was rubbish but the hostel knows and is working hard to fix this - Internet in Laos is generally poor. Would recommend - definitely value for money.

Good location in busy backpacker district but down an alley so not too noisy. Staff were helpful advising on places to go/where to eat. Good sized double room with fridge, tv, aircon and couch. Bathroom was good size and very clean. Laundry facilities cheap. No real common area - just a couch at reception and shared computers for use. A bit more expensive than hotels in the area but the standard is better. Would recommend.

Rooms are decent size and basic but clean. Staff are wonderful and go out their way to help - helped us book Mekong Delta trip; kept our bags while we were away and let us cancel a nights booking at short notice. Good location in backpacker district. Laundry facilities cheap. Breakfast basic - usually baguette with jam though one morning it was a pancake. What makes it a great place is the staff.

Very nice hotel with large, well kept rooms and bathrooms. Located out of town but free tuk-tuk into town and $2 back to the hotel. Shared computers to use but no real common area. Breakfast was very good - large choice. Food from restaurant was good though Western dishes were not that great. Reception and cleaning staff were very nice. Laundry service was cheap. Not much of an atmosphere as its a hotel - better for couples. All in all a very nice place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay - good facilities and large common room with computers. Food from bar was good as was hostel panda tour. Bar staff were not that friendly - the staff on reception/people bringing the food were friendlier. Quite open hostel which meant mosquitoes were a pest. DVD player in room was a nice touch. Directions from railway station were a bit confusing and made it more difficult to find the hostel than it should have been. Bathrooms/showers were a bit tired looking but clean.

Located in nice area but you have to take a taxi from metro - be wary of taxi drivers trying to rip you off. Room was very small and dark. Toilet/shower facilities were not great - again very dark. Staff ok but we were not given any city maps etc when we arrived which we're used to. Busy area with plenty of bars/restaurants etc. Easy to get bus to Terracotta Warriors. All in all an ok hostel.

Location is ok, near to a supermarket/bars but the actual location of the hostel wasn't great. Some of the staff (one young guy in particular) were very rude and their English was not great. Good communal area but spoiled by the fact you couldn't eat/drink your own food/drinks. Wifi only available downstairs - signal bad

Very easy to reach from airport. Room was small but immaculate - cleaned daily and we were given fresh towels. Also arranged for our washing to be done. Would recommend.

Hostel is in a good location less than 10 mins from the subway and well connected to the airport. Young contacted us after we booked to help with arrangements getting to the hostel and was super helpful when we were there - helping us to plan our days and giving general travel tips! Room (double) was a good size and both room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was good (toast, cereal,OJ). Can't recommend enough!

Reasonable sized room (twin) with small but very clean own bathroom. 10/15 minute from the station/shops. Very small common area with shared computer for use. Kitchen facilities small but good and has its own bar which we didn't use but seemed busy. Staff were helpful in booking taxi to ferry port. No laundry but there is a laundry just round the corner and the hostel sells cheap sachets of washing powder. Quite noisy at night as beside a busy main road but overall a good place to stay.

Bibo (the owner) picked us up from the station and was super helpful in explaining what there was to do in the area including the various onsen options. We had our own apartment which was large with a toilet and kitchen area (no shower). We were just a short walk from the jigoku/onsen/shops/bars etc which was good. Bibo also dropped us back off at the station when we checked out. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Beppu!

Good location near to the main sights as well as shops/restaurants etc. Nice staff. Our room was a twin (bunk bed) but was large and clean as were the shares toilets and showers. Common area to chill out in with shared computers for use and a kitchen. Washing machine available. All in all a good stay.

Located quite far from the station - did not feel safe walking back at night even thought there were two of us. Our room (a double) was absolutely tiny - barely room for the mattress and our bags. Shower was downstairs on the ground floor next to reception which was odd. Toilets were not great. Staff were ok, not particularly helpful or friendly. No atmosphere at all but that is likely because it is a hotel.

Ten miinutes from JR Nara station and very close to all Nara's sights. Owner was very helpful/nice and let us check in early (a first!). Rooms were immaculate. This was in a reasonably central location, close to a JR station. The facilities were ok but as it's a budget hotel the communal facilities for using wifi (we didn't get it in our room) weren't great and were right at the front door of the hotel. Average for the money - no atmosphere and the staff's English was poor. Ok for what my boyfriend and I needed it for - a private room and our own bathroom.
