Born Free Hostel, Bangkok, Thailand

Good beds, good location (less than 10 minute walk to Khao San Road). Lots of places to hang out around the hostel, although it was so hot that the air conditioned rooms were preferable. Lockers, outlets and reading lights for every bed which was very handy. They offer travel as well, we found it to be over priced (overnight bus for 800-900 Baht, we found it down the road for 400). Staff were nice enough, a little abrasive, but nothing that would have ruined our stay. Definitely a good deal.

Thank you for a constructive feedback. I encourage you to read this article and/or google bus scams in Thailand regarding theft, accidents and generally unpleasant long bus rides from cheaper bus companies I am not sure which one ends up being more costly :) 400THB and possibly having your bag emptied out or a more comfortable ride with nothing missing in the end of the journey? Thank you for staying with us :D

Really cool place to spend a few days! About a 10 minute walk outside of town means that this place is as peaceful as it gets! Lots of cool stuff to do around Pai or just hang out in a hammock and relax. Love the open feel of the place, bathrooms were outdoors, but always clean and stocked! Lockers available to keep your stuff in. Great place to just come and get away from the city.

This is by far the best place I have stayed. Always such a good time, so many cool people to meet. Really social, laid back atmosphere. Close to everything, staff are always joining in on the fun! Stayed over the Loi Krathong Festival and Noom, the owner, planned so much cool stuff for us to do. This is the must stay place in Chiang Mai, do yourself a favour and book in immediately!

This hostel surpassed what we had hoped. Really great rooms, each bed had it's own locker. Room cleaned well every day (they even remake your bed for you!) Great bar downstairs makes it so easy to socialise with everyone, food was fantastic and reasonably priced for those days when you just want to lay low. Cheap drinks, great location, really close to the Central Market and the National Museum. Staff were very friendly and always willing to help you sort out tours or buses. Great place for sure

This place was amazing! A little quiet due to the time of year, but being located in the middle of the Golden Triangle, it was a welcomed break! Suzy was amazing and upgraded us to a pretty much private room! Exceptional beds, clean bathrooms, great breakfast every morning and really fast wifi. Really close to everything (especially the gigantic H&M) we could walk to all of the main sites! Definitely stay here, will be back, no question, every time I'm in KL. Thanks again Suzy!!!

Great value for money! Very clean, really cool 3 tiered beds each with a locker, light and outlet. Location was a little out of the way, it was a decent walk to get to the beach. Good bathrooms and showers.

Stayed here our very first night in Bali and it set the tone for our entire trip. Comfy beds, hot showers, airport transfers. These are the friendliest people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting, you really feel like you are part of the family and staying in their home. Will definitely be back here!!

Brados is a very social atmosphere, there is always something going on. Awesome TV room with a playstation 3! The building is pretty old, so not the cleanest, but makes up for it in staff and organized activities and nights out. Always a good time!!
