Way to loud! What were they thinking when they set up the rooms to have their windows open to the outdoor shaft that the bar is under. We stayed on the forth floor and even earplugs did not help. We felt like we were at a rock concert every night. You should turn the music down by 10 pm.. I think it went till 3 every night. Even with the window closed the music from the bar was unbearable. Clean and secure.. but no laundry, kitchen and a scary computer room in the basement! Not impressed.
This place is amazing! Best place we stayed during our 3 week trek around Europe. 2 streets away from Casa Batlo (Gaudi)! Safe and nice area! Staff was so kind! Place is impeccably clean! Wifi is great! They have put so much into this place! The only problem was that smokers were allowed to smoke on the patio, which always had its door open to allow breeze. With the breeze came the smell of cigarettes. This hostel would be perfect if they required smokers to smoke on the street below.
This place is great! Only problem is that it gets expensive riding the tram up.. though liked this place more than their beach one, as I think this one was a bit more relaxed and quaint! Loved this place, we booked a private room and could not have been happier. We had some problems with the wifi... but dont think that was normal. Room was quite! Food and drinks were good price in bar. CLEAN KITCHEN!!! Great communal spaces. Bar was chill for ALL ages. Was nice to be out of the crazyiess of Nice
This is a room for rent. This place was great! Though we did not have a room with a view.. if you want one don't book the standard room. The room was clean and had virtually no stairs to climb (would be good for elderly or person whom doesnt want to climb stairs). It was basically the first place you came to once you walked up the main street (only 1 main street). So close to the beaches and easy walk to enjoy the town. Great cheap food in the bar! Wonderful staff. May hear the train a little.
This place was pretty far from the town but close to the Vatican. Not bad with the metro though. Nice room for rent, large fridge and even a small washer machine and stove. We stayed in 1 of 2 building locations (ours was closer to the vatican) so not sure how all the rooms were but ours was sufficient. It seemed to be clean, but not 100 % sure if I picked up some bed bugs at it. I hate to even say that because they really made an effort to keep it nice..It may have just been the streets of Rome.
This is a room for rent, so there is no communal area. This is a perfect place for a couple! It is hard to find the check-in office as the directions are sparse.. just remember you have gone to far once you have hit the green bridge (from train) the door will be facing the green bridge. We had an amazing stay hear. The room was on a quite charming street and was extremely clean and quaint. We loved it so much we booked a 2nd night.Couldn't have asked for a more romantic room in Venice! No wifi
Extremely clean.. actually better than some indoor hostels! We stayed in a private dorm and really enjoyed it. The only problem was that I would reverse how you have your dorms set up. You have your DORMS in the back part of the area and the PRIVATE ROOMS in the front part. I would reverse that, as the people staying in the dorms want to hang out and be a bit more loud, as the people staying in the private ones may prefer to be a bit more secluded... plus it is louder near the front area.
Staff was friendly. Breakfast was standard for european hostels. Wish that there was a vending machine and coffee/tea area set up 24 hours (though they do have a kitchen to use). 4 bedroom mixed dorm was extremely crammed, would be great if you were traveling with friends. Would not recommend it if you are a female...even if if you are traveling with a male friend.. instead book the larger mixed dorm. Hostel was clean. Bathrooms were clean. Wish they had lockers in the rooms. Wifi Good.
