This hotel is a nice one near the Canebière, allthough it is has nothing particularly fancy. I liked the possibility to squeeze your own orange juice in the morning, but found the lift very small. The staff was nice and helping.

Olive Hostel

We stay one night at this B&B. Please be aware that Olive Hostel and Frog Hostel arenot the sa, although at the same address. Olive Hostel comprises only two rooms and the person in charge is nice but seems quite untidy. When we arrived, our room was taken by another guest, that had to move. Some of the linen for bed were missing, and we had to complain to the Frog Hostel reception to get our promised breakfast. All in all, this place is cheap, but that would be the main reason to go there.

Hostel Mostel

Excellent hostel. We were there two years ago and came back again this year. The staff is nice and helpful (they will inform you about the taxi scams existing in Sofia). The bedrooms are quite standard ones for an hostel, but the breakfast is very nice (except the drinks). The only bad point is that some of the bedrooms are located several streets from the hotel, which is normally not an issue, but becomes more problematic when it is raining cats and dogs. To sum up: a nice place to stay.
