Stayed here for 3 nights in a four bed dorm. Good lay out, bathroom in the room and a sink, fridge and kettle came in really handy for storing food etc. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Popcorn machine and soup are a bonus. The hot tub was a little stinky but I think the water just needed a change when we were there. Nice for after hikes though. Overall lovely hostel with a good vibe!
Overall good hostel in a good location. Big kitchen
Couldn't recommend this hostel more. Everything is spanking new and really good quality down to the kitchen utensils, beds etc. Great service, really spacious, lovely neighbourhood and the pets are an added bonus! The staff are friendly, thorough and helpful, Emma even brings you down to the ferry terminal if you are headed South. Only thing that could be improved would be earlier breakfast time for people leaving early. Brilliant value for money!
Great location bang in the middle of town. Very clean, nice comfortable beds and crisp sheets, except for the kitchen which is a pigsty and smells pretty bad (mainly due to people not cleaning up at all). If you don't mind a soul-less atmosphere where none of the 500 or so people talk to each other and having to pay extra for every single extra facility (e.g. Wifi, computers, gym, baggage storage) then it's fine. Good for younger crowd who want to go on organised nights out.
Lovely hostel with unbeatable views and location. Huge, well-stocked kitchen with multiple fridges, ovens etc. Nice breakfast with fresh bread, could do with some electric toasters as there tends to be queues for the pans. Rooms are big, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, hot water. Only downside is that the staff/owner tend to socialise and eat there so are also using the facilities at peak times. Otherwise they are very helpful
Really good value for El Chalten. Nice big kitchen but a lot of people using it at once. Cosy rooms, good hot showers, good info on hikes. No breakfast but there are plenty of cafés, bakeries and supermarkets. The hostel is basic but not pretentious and has everything you will need for a few days. Definitely recommend it especially for those on a budget with simple requirements.
Lovely modern hostel on top the hill with view over the town, about 10 minute walk to the town/amenities. Great for family and older travellers, really chilled out, great common areas. Kitchen is small but has 2 sinks and 2 hobs so never a problem getting in. Hostel arranges asados and pizza nights most nights. We stayed over Christmas
Good hostel if you're on a budget in Puerto Natales. The owner is friendly and very knowledgeable about Torres del Paine. Good breakfast with eggs. Strange layout, the bathrooms are off the kitchen and weren't regularly cleaned/toilet paper replaced. Kitchen is the central hub/reception, can get very crowded. Sitting room is cosy with a tv and computer but not much seating space. No lockers in rooms and anyone can walk in and out. 5 minute walk to the center and close to bus station/supermarket.
Great hostel, definitely recommend it. The staff are really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about tours etc. 2 kitchens and good common area. Good social vibe without being too loud. Rooms are spacious, sturdy and comfortable beds with lockers underneath. Supermarket around the corner. Walking distance to everything incl. bus station. Overall great hostel.
Nice clean hostel, good bathrooms and showers, good location - can walk to center and to bus/ferry. Kitchen well equipped. We booked a private room which had 2 bunkbeds, but they didn't have the key and there were no lockers. Staff expected us to leave our valuables in the room unsecured. Eventually gave us a locker in a dorm after we insisted. Could do with some mosquito nets in the rooms. Breakfast is basic, nothing special but the norm (bread, jam, coffee etc.). A little bit overpriced.
Excellent location really close to main square and good value for double with private bathroom in Cusco. Breakfast is good, standard bread and jam, you pay a bit more for eggs and you have to go down early if you want them! Plumbing was not great, smell of sewerage in the toilet and drains in the rooms but if you can get past that it's a nice hostel. Showers were hot! Not a lot happening in the communal areas and asking to stay extra nights usually involves moving room so book ahead!
Great rooftop garden with fantastic views of the city (could do with some heaters though as it can get quite chilly at night) Beds very comfortable, rooms spacious and lockers in each room. Carpe DM travel agency downstairs is brilliant, would definitely recommend it for Galapagos trips! Located close to old town. Great during the day but not much happening at night/have to get cabs everywhere. All in all solid hostel
La Serrana is one of the nicest places we stayed. It's a twenty minute walk outside town but don't let that put you off, as it's well worth it for the views and peace of the countryside and the walk is lovely so flies by. The dinner in the dining room each evening is excellent and really good for talking to people. The staff couldn't be friendlier and there's a real sense of community here. 100% recommend it! Showers are actually hot!
Great location near metro and close to the Zona Rosa. Really safe neighborhood with a big supermarket nearby and good kitchen to cook in. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Can't fault it!
