La Covacha Hostel

Stayed here for a few days. It was very noisy from the traffic outside! But the dorm room was spacious and the beds were good. We stayed one night in a double room which was on the top deck. It was freezing cold! No matter how many blanckets there were it was still freezing. It was more like a storage room than a bedroom. The kitchen is too small for all the guests.

The pool was full of leaves and freezing cold when we were there. The kitchen lacked a lot of utensils, maybe it's better now? You never felt alone in the kitchen, there was a steady stream of ants going from the kitchen cupboards to the dining table. The rooms and beds were very good! And it's in a quiet neighbourhood not too far from shops.

We stayed in this hostel for three nights and it is very good. The atmosphere is relaxed and cool. The staff there are really helpfull. The standard is really great. It is just two months old, and newly renovated with tile floors nice bathrooms. The only thing to object to, is the cleanliness of the kitchen. (Think bachelor kitchen) The hostel is litterary a 1 minute walk from the bus going to the falls, airport and center. A huge supermarket, Mufato, is five minutes walking from the hostel.

Really nice and helpful staff. The hostel is a bit far from the city centre, but the metro is close by. The hostel doesn't have a real kitchen and the bathrooms weren't that clean.
