Whilst clean, the decor in the rooms is kinda shabby (even for a hostel). The Wifi is only available in the reception, and then requires you get a username and password from the front desk, each time you use it. It's also slow when there are more than two or three people there.
Excellent location for the beach, train station, shops (particularly the butcher and rotisserie across the road) and going out. The hostel and staff were really nice and the social area (both in the hostel and associated bar) was really good. The free beach equipment (umbrellas, towels and balls) was appreciated.
Whilst the hostel is generally pretty great, the lack of a clip/mount for the shower heads - meaning you have to hold the running shower head in your hand - is a bit irritating. And probably the cause of the damp bathroom floors.
The kitchen consists of a fridge, kettle and microwave with some pots - which kind of limits your cooking options.
