The shared showers = not so great; ankle-deep shower water is pretty gross. Careful of some of the shower heads; they're misdirected & may spray over the shower curtain. The water fluctuates between burning hot and icy cold, regardless of you yourself actually adjusting anything. Wifi is only in the (very loud at night) bar, which is too bad; the lockers aren't usable unless you have a large lock. However: the location is fantastic, the bartenders are great, & go on the walking tours.
Really love the chill out space with the hammocks!
Apparently it's a habit of Generator to switch guests' rooms midway through their stay, making them leave their luggage in a marked and unlocked storage room. Cool!
This is by far the best hostel that I stayed in. Good wifi, extremely friendly
Good, quiet place to stay. Awesome beanbags to relax in. Not far from the metro, which will get you to the big tourist spots. Bathrooms could do with a bathmat or place to dry your hands, but overall quite clean. Basic but good breakfast - toast, cereal, coffee, juice. No complaints,
Not enough power plugs... Bunk beds low... But the staff is great, it's very secure, & right near many museums & good food. Overall recommended.
Good space, In a fantastic location. Wish for more plugs ironically, but overall quite good.
"Free wifi" means wifi access when standing right next to the front desk in the lobby, & very slow. Disappointed in that. Breakfast was good, location is great, & the atmosphere was very good.
Awesome to have great wifi access throughout the hostel. Wonderful location, walking distance from pretty much everything. Unfortunately they sometimes took your towel for washing but neglected to replace it until the next day. Wish there were more safe places for baggage, or just space in general, but that's just how hostels are.
