I really loved Palmers Lodge! They have a lift which is awesome if you're carrying lots of stuff. The beds were super comfortable, you had room to sit up nicely and the curtains for privacy were a nice touch! It was really quiet and it made for a fantastic night. The breakfast was great, croissants, coffee, toast, juice and everything you need for a great start for the day! We only spent a night there but would love to return if there was a need for it. Really really recommended!

The location was excellent! Close to Liverpool St and Old St station,so that was a huge plus. The hostel itself was alright, the room we stayed at didn't feel claustrophobic and the mattresses were great. The toilets and rooms were a bit messy and unclean at times. You had to pay in order to use WiFi in your room. It's not a quiet place so bring your EARPLUGS! Staff was average, not the friendliest bunch but not rude. Overall it's OK, but there are better value for money hostels out there!

The location was ok, a bit far out from the centre, but the transport links were quite good. I liked the atmosphere of the hostel, really homely and the staff was lovely. Very very friendly and always made you feel welcome after a day out exploring London. The beds in our room were a bit tough, could feel the springs and the rooms were really small, but you get used to it. We spent 7 nights and we really enjoyed it overall!
