The biggest hole I've ever had to stay in in my entire life. A 50 dollar key deposit is the first thing you are greeted with in this sh.ithole. On top of this the internet is not free and you must pay something ridiculous like 30 dollars a week for it. This place is not backpacker friendly and you can forget about getting any sleep here because you won't. There is a cop station at the end of the block. The guy who runs this place is only interested in robbing of your hard earned money.

I was woken up every hour on the hour by the night porter. The fire alarm went off at 5.50 in the morning. I was charged 5 euro for internet that didn't work. Overall, this is a poorly run hotel for the location. I would not recommend it.

I stayed here for a week in September. Some of the 'long term residents' here have a problem with people from the south of Ireland and are not afraid to let you know this. The New Zealand receptionist was terribly rude and in your face. I'm sure there are many better places to stay in Belfast other than this hole of a place.

My room had no facilities to charge my phone or laptop. This was a massive inconvenience since I had to go to the kitchen and guard my possessions while they were being charged every day.! I imagine this was the case because it was a cost saving measure by the hostel. The shower facilities which were located next to my room are not adequately partitioned which meant that I could here everybody shower late into the night like 00.30 which made sleep impossible! Was not value for money.
