A good hostel for China, inexpensive and location is great for markets, restaurants, tube and airport access. The rooms are large and so are the common area showers. The staff are a light quiet but will help. Lounge/restaurant is a nice relaxing area and Alice will always have a smile! Food is expensive but very nice.
Nice hostel and location that sells it. However the rooms are too small and even had problems with people stepping on my bed to get out of their top bunk, the problem was resolved but the manager didn't show any compassion and was rude on entry to the room. Found some other staff members to be rude about guests in common areas. Breakfast is a great seller until 1pm and the view from the roof top is wonderful with an open patio area.
I stayed in a huge 16 bed dorm, highly impressed with 2 flat screen TVs, a sofa, personal shelving and lovely showers! The communal areas are cleverly laid out and the basement bar, game area has entertainment of all varieties every night. Breakfast is fantastic and staff couldn't be better - thanks Andre for my stay!
Hostel was nice. It isn't of the same quality in respect of entertainment during the day and night as that of HI-Toronto however the staff are friendly and will give you pointers of where and what to do whilst in Quebec. Really clean and great communal areas
Nice hostel in Montreal, the staff are friendly and helpful also when being a nuisance and having to keep changing reservation. The hostel is really clean and seems to be a high priority. Lacking in some atmosphere but suitable if you want to get your head down.
Great hostel with amenities and room size, also a benefit to have cabinet space and coat hooks! A rarity. The staff are super helpful and the day & night entertainment will suit everyone's needs. Free walking tours and comedy nights!
I had high hopes for this hostel from previous reviews but when if arrived during Carnival week it did not meet those expectations. Some of the staff were friendly and helped accordingly, others could be rude or unfriendly. The atmosphere was self generated and not much provided by the hostel. It would be worth a return visit out of Carnival week.
The hostel has a great location within the art district. The hostel is a little bit pricey and the bar isn't exactly backpacker friendly but the breakfasts and kitchen areas make up for it. Also the the first hostel with free hair dryers!! Whoopee
By far my favourite hostel in Brazil. The staff are super friendly and help nurse your hangovers or lend you their flip flops when you lost yours at the beach. You will be sure to find a party and chilled out atmosphere here. The rooms are hot but with good ventilation. Breakfast is yummy everyday and of course the famous BBQs and Free Pasta nights!! Will definitely return here if I come back to Floripa
Overall and average hostel, just on the pricey side
Fantastic and best hostel of my stay so far!! Originally booked in for 1 night, ended up being 13 nights at Wild Rover. The managers Numa, Adam and Lena are fantastic - so are their staff & volunteers. You feel right at home and safe here whilst being able to have crazy nights in the Bar. The rooms are really comfy and always kept clean, hot showers and even free hair dryer & straighteners in the 'make-up' room. Looking forward to going back!!!
This was a nice hostel to go to. It had a slight party atmosphere but no intrusive if you wanted to sleep. The staff always seemed busy or otherwise occupied so I felt we had to wait a lot for anything both reception and bar. This is a comfy hostel and especially enjoyed 2 pillows!!!
A great hostel with a cool location, it is more of a quiet hostel than others it is good to meet like minded people who want to catch up on their time with other things than alcohol!! The location is easily accessible to the Plaza de Armas. Great TV & kitchen facilities
We were very pleased with the room and staff at the Hostel. Would stay here again.
