We had orginally booked for a 2 night stay at La Controra but extended it to 3. The staff were so helpful on arrival and very welcoming with heaps of great advice. The garden area is the best place to chill and meet you new people and a great place to start your day with the free breakfast they provide. If you are looking for a good pizza head down the hill towards the traffic lights. Cross the road and there is a little restaurant down the right side with good food an great staff. Enjoy!!

This place is really cute. The apartment like facilities makes it a nice environment of your travelling in a big group or wanting to meet people. Please don't be put off my the owner. He is a very lovely man of you are willing to try and speak some Italian with him. There is no wifi in the hostel but cute bars nearby with it avaliable. The kitchen facilities are basic but there is a supermarket close so you can have a break from restaurants. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did :-)
