One of the best hostels in Asia i ever stayed in. Super fiendly staff, nice rooms (privates), had comfortable bed aswell.
+ Nice Hostel a bit hidden in a sideally. - Not to easy to find right away. A sign on the bigger street and the hostel wouldn't be a bad idea. + Host is a very friendly and helpful, i did not have much contact to the rest of the staff. + The hostel itself is nice and full of details, the double room i had was nice aswell. - bed was not to comfortable and the shower was chinese style - one in all solution. - Not realy a common area where you meet the other guests
Friendly and superhelpful Staff (especially Charlie), nice rooms some even with a good view. Very clean and you have everthing you need (towel, fan, ac, nice common area, machine & dryer). It's between the Beimen and Main Station stop, so you have 2 metro lines within a 10min walking area. And the underground mall exit Y17 is just in 5m away from the door, so you can avoid the traffic and biggest heat during the day by taking shortcuts through there.
Amazing rooftop terasse. Tin lockers in our room were unbeliabely noisy so you woke up everybody in the night if you need to open it. Besides that it was a very nice stay!
Toilets & Showers on 4th floor are keeping you away from getting a better rating from me. The restrooms smelled terribly on both of my stays. They eventually only got cleaned properly once during my time at your hostel. Also it would make sense to install urinals on a mens restroom and put some toilet brushes in the toilets.

Not sign or name for the Hostel on the building. Good if you are on a tight Budget or just need to stay for one night because your actual hostel is overbooked as mine was. Else spend some more $ and get more for it.

Staff seemd to be grupmy and unmotivatet almost all the time. 5min waiting time at the counter had to be expectet, although you were the only person there. Had to wave at them with my passport to get their attention of their computer screen to check in. Changing money (bill to coins which where needed for the hostel's laundrymachine & dryer) seemd to be a herculean task and so on. Was almost a cultural shock after more then two weeks in hostels in mainland china with super staffs.
Hidden in a side ally of the west street (main tourist street). Hostel was clean and staff ok. My privat had a nice view over the town and the river. Probabely not perfect for early sleepers: bars/tourists were loud and hearable until late in the night. Bikerental from external companys recommended, the ones we rented through the hostel were not the best.
Nice hostel a 20-30min walk off downtown Guilin. Busstops in front of the complex and nice local market/stores close by. Staff is very helpful and fluent in english! Hostel is a nice base from where you can do 2-day trips to the ricefields (very recommended - highlite of my stay) and yangshuo (very touristy - rent a bike and get out of the beaten paths). Almost forgot the best: The bar is equipped with a Lavazza machine and the girls know how to use it! nice to get a good coffee in china! ;)
Close to the Trainstation, 10min walk to the Metro. Staff very friendly and helpful, some struggeling a bit with english but there was always one around to help out. Amazing building with nice and quiet courtyard (Paradise in this noisy and vivid city!), nice restaurant which is worth it's price aslong as you don't have to turn every coin twice. Had a Private, best room of my 3 weeks/5 hostels trip! If i'll come back to Xi'an i'd just check the availability here.
