Panorama Hostel EcoBackpackers

Great hostel, clean, hot showers and eco-systems toilets like in UK! Breakfast was good lots of choice and a nice view while eating it in the mornings. Staff are great, friendly and welcoming. We had a late arrival and was accommodated straight away. It was quite season when arrived so we had room to ourselves, (Bonus) But even though quite still got a little group together and partied at local club/bar. Would stay at this hostel again and would recommend to friends.

Loved our stay here, was worried after the reviews but we had no problems. The rooms do get very hot at night, air con would be better but we had fans in the room. Bathrooms cleaned daily and kitchens. downside in kicthen is the sugar ants everywhere!! Food was left out in the cuboard and attracted them which was grose cooking our dinner. The vibe in the hostel was dull, no parties, no entertainment. Most guests were brazilian/spanish who didnt speak english so we we found it hard to chat

Staff were great and welcoming. The location is ideal close to everything you need and in a safe area. The rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Downside is there is no laundry facilities even thought the website stated it had, which we were relying on. The local laundrette is not self service and worked out really expensive. Also the kitchen is tiny, fine if no-one was using it but couldnt fit more than 3 people in there 4 at a push. Breakfast was yummy though and different everyday.

The hostel is run down, the rooms were not cleaned very well, the shower taps leaked and had marked the walls in limescale. The sink cold tap was missing and the mirror lights didn't all work. it was all grimy. We were disappointed with the kitchen we asked for the fridge and was shown the water cooler and a tiny little fridge at the bottom.barley enough room to hold our sandwich bits and there was no real kitchen to cook. We decided to eat out every night..

Thanks for you response. Yes we know our building need some attention. Glad to say we have fix all the water leaks and we are bringing in a new fridge within the next week. We have guests cooking every night in our kitchen. However we will improve the kitchen. Thanks once again. We will make this the best hostel in Flores.

This hotel needs a good clean ants everywhere, and damp patches in rooms. The kitchen was small, in busy periods it would be hard to use and they use laundry powder as washing up liquid?!The rooms are cleaned daily and staff are nice and tried to speak english, but the toilets had hardly / no toilet paper no soap and some toilets missing seats! Its ok for 1-2 nights max as cheap but not for longstays. Mama's breakfast is amazing though and very filling, she is a lovely lady.
