For me, the hostel had just 2 problems: location and reception. It was quite far from Paris centre, but it was around 800m from a metro station, so all in all it was not a real problem, since anywhere you stay in Paris, you're gonna have to use the metro. And in Paris the metro is cheap, it's just 1,70€ in central Paris. About the reception, it's not 24/7, so you have to check-in before 21h, or the reception will be closed.
It's a great hotel. The beds are large, comfortable and the staff cleaned the rooms everyday. It's 1 km from most of the touristic points in Brussels. The bathroom is clean and they provide you soap and shampoo. The Internet didn't work inside the rooms though, so if we needed to use it we had to go to the corridors or downstairs. Although the rooms were regularly cleaned, the common kitchen was not. The common kitchen was really dirty and the washing and dying machines were not working.
The location is perfect. It lies in a walking distance from the London Eye and from the Waterloo Station. The beds were too tight though. There were 3 beds in the bunk instead of the usual 2, so for me getting in and getting out of any of the three levels of the bunk was tough. The bathrooms were not always clean properly, so many times the drain was blocked.

The breakfest was good and they offered slippers and towels. However, the power was off several times, and we could see it was only in that building. So I guess they were tapping into electricity illegaly. It was bad because with no power the water could not be heated and you could not use the microwave.
