Best London Hostels

London, England

It's easy to get over the fact that there are hardly ever staff around since the "hostel" is spread over many buildings. But there were just too many people in my building and room-I could touch about five other humans from my bed, and no curtains! It got hot and was just hard to get a proper night's sleep. Lounge usually overflowing too. It's nice there are kitchens available, though.

Wonderful place. Only hostel I've stayed in in an actual pretty building-literally an old mansion. Even the very large dorms have a feeling of privacy, because there are heavy curtains around each bed. Great left luggage facilities, helpful staff on duty 24/7, slightly better-than-average breakfast, will return. If only the tube stop had a lift! Only real complaint is that it can get pretty loud some nights.
