There is a musty smell as soon as you walk in. It's a huge hostel so I find people don't really try to get to know each other vs. the smaller ones people are more likely to be more friendly. My sheets were damp when I got into bed. Not the best place. Of all the hostels I've stayed at this one was the worst. Won't be staying here again.

I absolutely loved this place! Wish I could've stayed longer. This place has a well equipped kitchen, with things like free pasta. I thought the facility was really clean, they were also nice enough to show me around and even help me with my bags. I also thought the rooms were quite spacious. The staff was AMAZING and the hostel itself had a very warm and friendly atmosphere (which I think is largely due to the staff). Thank you Global Village for making my time in Belfast so memorable.
