The best hostel in three months of travelling and almost 30 different cities!. Everything's clean, the staff is great (special thanks to Khrystian, is the nicest guy ever, he helped us in tons of stuff!). Hot showers, the best atmosphere, comfortable beds, big rooms, well equipped kitchen. If we visited Barcelona again, we'll definitely stay there!.

A great place to stay!. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms, hot shower, lockers, free breakfast. It's not noisy and it is in an excellent location. There was a girl at reception who was simply the best, always offering help for everything and giving cool advices. Unfortunately I can't remember her name... The rest of the staff was good as well.

Your going to feel as home. It's a flat with three rooms where you can really know all the guests. There are two computers free to use and a common room. Half block away from Accademia Gallery, the best location. No curfew, you have a key and are free to come and go as you want. The owner is super nice, she helps in everything she can. There's no fridge, but it's coming soon I think, so that's cool. Maybe the only bad thing is that the only way to pay is cash, no credit cards.

Nice place to stay for a couple of days. Convenient but not luxurious. It's not in Venezia per se, but in Mestre (just a bus away. The bus stop is 10 meters from the hotel and it takes no more than half hour to get to the city centre). Everything was very clean, they change the linen and towels and put soap and shampoo in the bathroom everyday. The woman in charge of the kitchen and the reception guy of the night shift (16

One day our food was distributed in the free stuff shelves (even though the bag was clearly labeled) and some things were missing. When we asked the receptions girls (night of the 13/11, morning of the 14/11) if it was possible to talk to the cleaning lady (just to know if she had made a mistake, we were not accusing her of stealing) they really didn't care and did nothing to help us. The only problem in 21 hostels we had been so far, and the worst staff by far. The rest was fine I guess.

The reception staff was very nice. They tried to help us in everything they could. The cleaning ladies weren't that cool. One, in the kitchen, was very rude. She even tried to take some dishes away from our hands in order to hurry us to leave the place!. We struggled with her for a couple of seconds, was weird. Guess she thought they were dirty, but they have milk, tea, and cereals on!. The rest is fine: great security, nice kitchen, hot showers, comfortable beds, big rooms. Close to the metro.

It was very clean. The rooms are very comfortable, huge and with big (free) lockers. The staff is great, reception as house keeping ladies (always offering their help for everything you may need). Hot showers, nice beds. Near the tram, the castle, and the Petřív Hill. Not that near to the main station though, but with metro and tram you are there in 20 minutes.

The best by far is the staff: they helped us with different stuff like how to get to Prague the cheapest way possible and how to get almost everywhere by public transport. Always with a smile. Everything else was good as well: rooms are comfortable, everything is very clean, they have great city maps (of Dresden and other cities, which was very useful for us) and the kitchen is small but well equipped. I'll definitely stay again here!.

Not close to the city Centre or main stations, but opposite to a S-Bahn station from where you can be in the city in a few minutes. Everyone at reception were really nice and helpful. The hostel was very clean except from two burgers left in the oven (which wasn't working) ages ago, they were cover in some kind of fungus. Hot showers, comfortable beds, big bedrooms. Bathrooms had soap and shower gel. Free wifi but you have to ask for a code every hour, that's uncomfortable. I will stay again .

I think the only problem is the kitchen: is small, without windows, you can't open the door and it's in the same room that the washing and drying machine If you don't want to cook, this is the place for you!!!. Very clean, comfortable beds, near the main station, with hot showers, free breakfast (and sometimes even free dinner, great thing about this hostel. It's an unique feature, no hostel do this kind of stuff!). Electronic keys and cool staff. Just great!.

Hi there and thanks for the rating. Yes, there are bigger guest kitchens out there in the hostel world. We've decided to provide the basics, so you can cook a quick meal and store your food and then add some specials like the free breakfast, free dinners, homemade good food and the best tips where to get the best take-aways around the corner. I am happy you enjoyed that!

Very good hostel. Everything was very clean, rooms were comfortable, hot showers and cool staff!. I would stay there again. 30 minutes walk from the main station, with a subway just in front of the hostel.

Really cool hostel!. Great breakfast, clean toilettes and rooms, lockers inside (you need a padlock) and outside (0.80 per hour) the room. They even give you towels and shampoo!. The staff is really nice, the beds are comfortable, the shower is hot and the location is perfect: near the train station, Dam Square, Red Light District.. The only bad thing for us is that they don't have a kitchen, no even a microwave, so we expend a lot of money eating outside (or eat crappy sandwiches everyday).

Maybe the kitchen is a bit small, and the showers have the worst system ever!. But everything else is good. Two doors with electronic keys, helpful staff, comfortable beds, bikes to rent... And as Bruges is really small you can get everywhere from the hostel.

The best by far: the staff. We deal with three different guys at reception and they all were very nice and helpful. A friend was feeling ill and one of them told her where the pharmacy and the hospital were. It's a pity I don't remember his name Big rooms, good breakfast, locked luggage room. Maybe beds could be a little more comfortable, but they weren't terrible though. Hot showers and big kitchen (they need an oven!). Far from the city Centre, but not that much. And close to the metro.

Reception guys are cool, but the ones in charge of the kitchen and cleaning not so good. Always speaking in a rude way, and they even clean the kitchen (dust bins) when they weren't suppose to, leaving an ugly smell while some guests were eating. And they have to provide guests with better kitchen facilities: no knives, bad oven and burners!. Everything else is nice. Big bedrooms, hot comfortable showers, electronic keys, good breakfast.

Glad you like our reception team- sorry if you found housekeeping lacking and we will certainly look at what we an do to improve in all departments. We will review equipment in Kitchen which is reguarly restocked as things do go missing.

Awesome hostel!!!. The best beds and pillows in a month of travelling!. Rory and Hannah are very nice, they told us about bus timetables and interesting things to see nearby. Everything is very clean, breakfast is great, rooms are comfortable, hot water in the baths, nice place to seat outside, wifi, TV room, two electronic doors to get inside (and they are always near which adds security to the place). Hope them good luck, they deserve it!.

A very nice place to stay. Everything was clean, the showers were comfortable and hot, and the staff was great; very friendly atmosphere!. It was near everything (bus station, botanic gardens, city Centre). Good breakfast, well equipped kitchen (although a little small if you all are cooking at the same time), pool table (just 50p) and free ping pong table!. Electronic entrance door, key in the bedroom and lockers (bring your padlock). Thanks Mete, Casha, Frankie

High Street Hostel
