The Adventure Brew Hostel

La Paz, Bolivia

Staff were friendly and helpful, location great as right next to bus terminal but ensuite bathroom was dirty and smelly.

Cruz de los Andes

La Paz, Bolivia

This place was a hotel and with no common areas but was nice to stay for a few nights and relax, we had our own balcony. On a side street so quieter but close enough to downtown backpacker mecca streets with abundance of markets, restaurants and travel agents. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Pariwana Hostel Cusco

Cusco, Peru

Great hostel, friendly staff, good location.

Casa 579

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Absolutely amazing view! We returned to Rio for one night after staying in Copacobana our previous stay and we'll worth it. The views from the roof top terrace were fantastic, restaurant just down the way Gauchos with north city view also great.

Iguassu Guest House

Foz do Iguacu, Brazil

Close to bus terminal to get to Iguassu, clean hostel and helpful and friendly staff.

The Hostel-Inn Iguazu Falls

Puerto Iguazu, Argentina

Great hostel out of Town but short bus ride (every 20 minutes or 40 pesos taxi). You can also catch the bus to Iguassu Falls from just outside. Awesome pool and outside area but they play unnecessarily loud techno music from about 2pm which ruins the chilled out atmosphere. Travel agent was helpful but gave us different information on few occasions so just make sure to clarify. Staff were friendly but not enough of them and they seemed overworked, there from 6am till midnight everyday.

Che Lagarto Suites Copacabana Anita

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Clean hostel, friendly staff, great location if you want to be in Copacobana but atmosphere is lacking.

Base St Kilda

Melbourne, Australia

Awesome place, super clean and the showers are amazing!. Happy Hour is a bonus and it's so close to Acland St in St Kilda and the tram stop.

Newcastle upon Tyne, England

This place is spacious and super clean. Lounge room is huge along with the games room down stairs where you can play pool and watch sky.

Manhattan Inn Hostel

New York, USA

We booked a 8 bed dorm thinking we were gonna pay $30 a night but ended up in a very cramped 4 bed dorm and had to ay the difference a night and in tax. We took this up with management but they said there were no guarantees on what accommodation you get, which is weird cause that's what I thought the whole idea of "booking" was? So we weren't happy about that. The rooms were crowded hot and you head to go to the toilet sideways as the bathrooms were so small you couldn't sit properly, you legs were practically in the shower. Breakfast was good but you had to wait or fight for a seat in the oh so small kitchen.
