Good location, well equipped kitchen, overall nice and quiet hostel.
Clean hostel, comfortable bed, helpful staff. Very convenient location to catch the bus to the airport.
Clean modern hostel with a homey loft feel. Well equipped kitchen. Staff is absolutely amazing and helpful.
Clean basic hostel with spacious dorm rooms. Well located just steps away from the fruit market street and within walking distance to many of the attractions. Owner is very helpful.
This little hostel feels like a chalet. It is far from everything, so it can be a bit difficult to get around since the buses are infrequent. But it's the perfect spot if you're just looking for a place to relax (I ended up extending my stay for this very reason). Right next to the ocean, although you have to walk about 10 minutes to get to a beach. The kitchen is not really a kitchen, but it's possible to make very simple meals. Owners are incredibly welcoming.
Dorm rooms are very cramped, but luckily there were only two of us when I was there. Can't imagine how it would be with 6 people in there. Mattresses are the very thin style on a hard surface. Clean hostel, well equipped kitchen. Plenty of seating, but no table with proper chairs, which makes it a bit hard if you have some work to do on your computer while on the road.
Clean hostel that feels very new, well-equiped kitchen, nice common areas, comfortable beds. The hostel owner is friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!
Great common areas, decent kitchen. most dorm rooms do not have windows.
Quiet hostel with a nice relaxing outdoor area. Easy to get there, although located a bit out of the way. 4-bed dorm room was on the small side, but it didn't feel too cramped. Mattress was firm and comfortable.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Tiny like a lot of things in Hong Kong. Very clean. Can be a bit noisy at night if people chat in the common room located right next to the three dorm rooms that make up the hostel, so bring earplugs and you'll sleep well. Easy to find with the instructions and photos provided.
Fairly central hostel close to public transit, so it was easy to go just about anywhere. Liked that it was in a traditional building, but it's a bit cold in the winter. The fact that it's a vegetarian hostel rocks!
Small hostel with a family feel. Staff was super helpful, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the bathrooms were clean. Very quiet at night, which made it easy to get a good night of sleep.
With comfortable bunk beds and hot water with good pressure for showers in the ensuite bathroom, this was a great spot to rest after hiking for four days on the Inca Trail. The atmosphere was a bit lacking, but that's probably because I was there during the low season and was alone in a 4-bed dorm room. Food at the bar was reasonably priced, especially considering how overpriced everything in Aguas Calientes normally is. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The dorm rooms, while not super spacious, are very nice and clean. Mattresses are big and comfy, beds are very solid, you don't even notice when someone on the top bunk moves or uses the ladder. The plywood surrounding each bunk is a nice touch for privacy, and the personal outlet and light are quite practical. Items at the pub/bar are reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If there was also a kitchen for guests to cook their own food, it would be the perfect hostel.
Overall a good hostel, but the staff was a bit clueless at times. Dorm room was a bit cramped, mattress of average comfort. The toilets and showers were super clean. My only major complaint is that the kitchen was very poorly equipped.
Great location, nice and clean, comfy beds and probably the best comforter I've ever seen in a hostel. Wish I could have stayed longer!
