Nice hostel and staff. Although it is close to the train station, it takes time to reach the center and the main park. If you fancy walking no problem, I do not like to use transports in medium size cities. The dormitory was fine, do jot understand why people still ke windows closed... The fresh air - above all in a 8 male dormitory - is extremely important. But i do not blame the staff
Nice hostel on the whole. The only two shortcomings are some of the staff - do not even say hello - and the location - quite far from the main temples if you, as me, like walking (apart from To-ji temple, a gem). For the first, wait for the helpful ones, for the second, rent a bike (500 yen per day... Fair price).
I had a great time at Nui. Best hostel ever. Kind, genuine and gentle staff, as well as the japanese you will meet there at the bar.
