Share House is a home away from home! All the staff, especially Julian & Loch, are so much fun and willing to help in any way they can. Breakfasts include crepes made by Julian, the free caipirinhas are wonderful, & heaps of activities on offer. The beach is just a 3 min walk, plenty of deals for the bars & clubs (like P12! Go there!), and free beach gear available too. Downstairs showers a bit rough, but the dorms are all good otherwise. Love the Share House! Favourite hostel in South America!
Great hostel, lovely view from the restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. Lots of steps down to the rooms which is not fun with your bags on, but the pool makes up for that. A bus ride away from the beach, I preferred their sister hostel Share House because it was right by the beach.
Great hostel just a couple of blocks back from Copacabana Beach. The staff really make the effort to get to know you, and the place is just the right size that you'll meet plenty of people without it being overwhelming (I find the bigger hostels a bit less sociable sometimes because people don't recognise you). There are always people willing to go to that night's party, and the staff are happy to assist. My favourite hostel of the four I stayed in in Rio!
The staff here are so friendly! Always willing to help and offer advice on things to do. The hostel was a little quiet during our stay so we didn't really meet anyone else, but the staff were great to chat to all the same.
Great hostel. Loved the pool and the poolside bar. Pretty good for meeting people, but the staff could have been more helpful with information about Iguazu Falls. They knew enough about the Argentine side but were little help in working out the logistics of visiting the Brazilian side.
We had a funny few days in Rosario but the staff at La Casona really helped us make it through, including playing darts and Jenga with us til 2am! Our four bed dorm, the Disco room, had a broken toilet, but everything else was pretty good. Nice breakfast too!
