Gajanand Guest House

What a great experience we had staying Gajanand guest house. Our train was 2 hours late and didn't arrive until 12:30 in the night but Kamal stayed and waited for us to arrive and brought us straight to the guest house free of charge. Our room was extremely clean and spacious and the shower was nice and hot. Wifi was amazing and kamel gave us chai in the morning. Even let us come back and shower after our camel safari. If you want to have a pleasant stay in Jaisalmer, stay at Gajanands.

Anjali Inn

We stayed just one night after flying into Mumbai. Hotel is close to airport and included airport pickup. Hotel is o.k. For this purpose. In order to keep a/c on all night you must keep main light on too (this is a little weird).

Hostel Kiki

Bol, Croatia

You would be crazy not to stay here. We booked a private room for 3 nights and ended up staying 4. This is by far the best hostel we have ever stayed at. The host was very accommodating and even picked us up at the ferry terminal when we arrived. Our room was very clean and cozy with everything bright coloured. Felt like we were on a beach vacation.

House Osana

What an incredible experience at Osana house. The value for your money is amazing. Clean private double room close to restaurants. A little far from the lakes (10km) but the bus is only a few 100m away. Osana and her husband are so sweet and welcome you like family. Even gave us a welcome shot of liquor and again when leaving. Just a memorable stay.

Dorm rooms are small but clean. Staff is great and very kind. Wifi works well. Expect a walk up 6 flights of stairs every time you return. If you want a clean, safe, simple place to stay then this is perfect.

Dorm rooms are very large with table in the middle which was nice. Bathrooms are really clean and nice. Wifi is horrible, does not work in rooms. Every huddles in the luggage area to try and check emails. Close to train station.

Hostel Santa Monaca

Nothing overly bad about this hostel, just nothing special either. Dorm rooms feel somewhat like prison cells with one small window with bars on it. Lots of hallways and it is a maze to make it to the bathroom. Eating area is large and kitchen is fine. Lacks character.

Cinque Terre Holidays

Cinque Terre, Italy

Loved staying at Cinque Terre Holidays in Riomaggoire. Really easy place to find. The owner walked us to our place where you have to walk up 70 steps to an apartment. The places are not dorm rooms but apartments. So it's like you have 5 roommates. You have a view of the town below. It's a bit older but has tons of character. Our beds were in with the dining table, so that was odd but it was fun to talk with everyone and we all shared dinner when we were there. Nice to have a kitchen. No wifi.

Itaca Hostel

Barcelona, Spain

A small, clean and safe hostel. Location is great for walking to many restaurants and metro stops. Nice size hostel with around 30 beds so the kitchen doesn't get to crowded. Nice eating area with small verandas to enjoy breakfast on. They play an English movie every night at 8. A little difficult to find but then again most things are in Barcelona.
