Mrs. Julie

Rome, Italy

Pros: Theresa was able to accommodate for my late arrival (1am!) and was friendly in doing so. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was newly refurbished and clean. Fantastic location Cons: I had a bed that was roadside so lots of noise all hours of the day - double check with the host prior to booking on what room you'll get. Shower was pretty small. Other: No one seemed to be around so if you're not a self sufficient traveler then maybe think twice. I

Hotel Antonia

Santorini, Greece

The staff at Hotel Antonia are friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They offered excellent reviews and details of what to do, where to eat in Thira and went above and beyond what I expected. The room even included a bottle of Santorini wine! The room itself was above average but not amazing, it did the job for a place to sleep. Unfortunately, the shower was so cramped that the plastic shower curtain stuck to you as you showered, which in my opinion, is gross. Wifi was excellent, location great.

Andriani's Guest-House

Mykonos, Greece

Absolutely fantastic stay. Picked up and dropped off to/from ferry made our stay just that much simpler. Gorgeous guesthouse, we were made tea on arrival. We had a fantastic view from the balcony of mykonos. Short distance from the centre meaning it was quiet and tranquil. Room was clean, bedding comfy. Would definitely stay again!

City Circus Athens

Athens, Greece

Fantastic hostel, lovely staff, great wifi and rooms were modern and trendy. Location looked a tiny bit dodgy but it wasn't so bad. Would stay again

Rivoli Cinema Hostel

Porto, Portugal

Clean hostel, modern decor. Did ntc use the kitchen but it was huge. Location was good.

We Love F. Tourists

Lisbon, Portugal

The good: the bathroom is modern, there's plenty of sunshine in the rooms, fantastic location. The sheets felt clean. Plenty of books to borrow. Loft space was quite nice and great selection of teas. The bad: the 4 bed dorm room is sooooo tiny, they cheaped out by putting mattresses on crates. There was a huge blood stain on one of the beds. Be prepared for like 6 flights of stairs. The staff, although nice, tried to be your friend a bit too hard and came off as unauthentic.

Excellent hostel, rooms were spacious and the lockers were huge. Wifi worked well, staff were helpful and friendly and the kitchen was massive. 1 down side was lack of toilets.

Riad Baraka

Chefchaouen, Morocco

Rooftop has fantastic views of the town, comfortable beds, and showers are thoughtful with a cabinent in them to store things. Lovely and helpful staff. Overall, great stay!

Riad Jennah Rouge

Marrakech, Morocco

I booked a private room which was on the ground floor, if you're sensitive to light and sound when you sleep then ask to be moved. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was decent but not entirely spacious. There was a damp smell in the room and it had a clammy feeling. I booked another night and was taken to the annexe of the other hostel and it was much better in comparison.

Loft Hostel

Reykjavik, Iceland

The hostel was clean and the decor was cool. Great space to hang out. Staff were lovely. Only minor issue was there was an egg smell throughout the hostel that came and went. Beds were super comfortable and air con temp was just right.

U Hostels

Madrid, Spain

One of the best hostels I have stayed in! Really clean EVERYWHERE, non-creeky beds, excellent wifi and resourceful staff. Location is excellent. I didn't have the b'fast so I cannot comment but I would definitely stay here again in future. Girls, don't bother with a private bathroom dorm because the common bathrooms are excellent.

Hostel Revolution

Quito, Ecuador

The location is ideally located between the old town and ginrgolandia. This is a nice and super quiet hostel which is fantastic for when you are recovering from sicknesses of all sorts. Bathrooms are super clean, wifi is great and the beds don't creek. Beds also have lockable lockers which are great. HUGE kitchen with every appliance under the sun.

Chilli Hostel Santiago

Santiago, Chile

The staff at the hostel were super friendly and helpful. This was the first hostel I had stayed at where breakfast AND dinner were included every day and they were not bad at all! Fast wifi and friendly atmosphere and not too noisy.

Backpackers Kaweskar Hostel

Puerto Natales, Chile

This is an awesome cosy hostel that feels like a home. The dorms are roomy, wifi is excellent and bathrooms are clean and big. The owner is a super friendly guy who puts on a great breakfast including eggs cooked by yours truly. The hostel is warmed throughout and the kitchen feels like being at grandmas. Excellent hostel, I would stay here again if I were to come to PN again.

America del Sur Hostel

El Calafate, Argentina

The staff at America Del Sur are awesome: friendly, helpful and hilarious. The breakfast is decent and the views of the lake in the common areas are beautiful! Wifi is plentiful and strong. The location is a short 5 min walk from the main street but there's not a lot there anyway. One downside was that the shower was tiny.

Dogo Hostel

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Super friendly, helpful and awesome staff who speak really good English. The kitchen is nice and wifi excellent in the rooms. Spacious 4 bed dorm. Location in Palermo is amazing, only down side being that the metro is a 10 block walk away. But Palermo is a fantastic barrio. The 1 other negative was that bathroom felt a bit grimey but I guess it's kind of old.

muchas gracias por tus comentarios. Saludos!

I originally booked a shared dorm but upon my arrival after an exhausting flight, I upgraded to a private room. As it was a late booking, I had to change rooms after the first night which was no problem at all. The staff even moved my bags to the other room for me the next day. Both rooms were really spacious with A/C, nice huge bathrooms and couches. Both were really clean. The location feels a little dodgy but is super close to buses and the main bus station. Overall, great for 1 or 2 nights

Pros: The staff are friendly and the daily tours are excellent. Kitchen is pretty big. Pay phone was handy to use. Coin operated laundry was cheap. Cons: The 4 bed dorms are really small, hardly any room to store 4 peoples worth of luggage. Wifi is horrible in the rooms.

I was here for NYE and the hostel put on a great party. Friendly staff, location is excellent. Only downside was wifi wasn't great in the room
