One of the best hostels I have stayed in! Really clean EVERYWHERE, non-creeky beds, excellent wifi and resourceful staff. Location is excellent. I didn't have the b'fast so I cannot comment but I would definitely stay here again in future. Girls, don't bother with a private bathroom dorm because the common bathrooms are excellent.

The location is ideally located between the old town and ginrgolandia. This is a nice and super quiet hostel which is fantastic for when you are recovering from sicknesses of all sorts. Bathrooms are super clean, wifi is great and the beds don't creek. Beds also have lockable lockers which are great. HUGE kitchen with every appliance under the sun.

The staff at the hostel were super friendly and helpful. This was the first hostel I had stayed at where breakfast AND dinner were included every day and they were not bad at all! Fast wifi and friendly atmosphere and not too noisy.

This is an awesome cosy hostel that feels like a home. The dorms are roomy, wifi is excellent and bathrooms are clean and big. The owner is a super friendly guy who puts on a great breakfast including eggs cooked by yours truly. The hostel is warmed throughout and the kitchen feels like being at grandmas. Excellent hostel, I would stay here again if I were to come to PN again.

America del Sur Hostel

El Calafate, Argentina

The staff at America Del Sur are awesome: friendly, helpful and hilarious. The breakfast is decent and the views of the lake in the common areas are beautiful! Wifi is plentiful and strong. The location is a short 5 min walk from the main street but there's not a lot there anyway. One downside was that the shower was tiny.

Dogo Hostel

Super friendly, helpful and awesome staff who speak really good English. The kitchen is nice and wifi excellent in the rooms. Spacious 4 bed dorm. Location in Palermo is amazing, only down side being that the metro is a 10 block walk away. But Palermo is a fantastic barrio. The 1 other negative was that bathroom felt a bit grimey but I guess it's kind of old.

I originally booked a shared dorm but upon my arrival after an exhausting flight, I upgraded to a private room. As it was a late booking, I had to change rooms after the first night which was no problem at all. The staff even moved my bags to the other room for me the next day. Both rooms were really spacious with A/C, nice huge bathrooms and couches. Both were really clean. The location feels a little dodgy but is super close to buses and the main bus station. Overall, great for 1 or 2 nights

Pros: The staff are friendly and the daily tours are excellent. Kitchen is pretty big. Pay phone was handy to use. Coin operated laundry was cheap. Cons: The 4 bed dorms are really small, hardly any room to store 4 peoples worth of luggage. Wifi is horrible in the rooms.
