Really good location to Copacabana beach. Great hostel bar and good wifi. Room was a bit grim as it was a three bed bunk and pretty rickety. Helpful staff.

Mixed feelings about this place. Close to the beach front, and all they did all day was clean it, but little things like putting everywhere that the bar shut at 2am, then closing at 10 pm - and the next night (Saturday) at 9:30... Boring breakfast, very very overpriced restaurant, and staff were quite unhelpful. Good air con and pretty good wifi for the island. It's very clean....!

Hostel Sol

arrived two hours after check in, yet plates of food left on bed plus kicked out after going in room to change sheets. Tango lessons right next to room meant unsleepably loud music til 1am then kicked out again the next day to fumigate the rooms (?!). Dirty tiny kitchen and horrible shared bathrooms. Pointlessly difficult location. Only bother for cheap price. so many more things wrong but then it just becomes a stupid rant.

La Casona de Odile

This place is beautiful. We were so happy here we extended our stay! I can't speak for the dorms but our private room was great with a lovely bathroom (and a good shower!). The garden was idyllic, and even though we meant to go hiking etc in el bolson, we stayed in the hostel the whole time. Wonderful. Marcel and team were excellent hosts and run an efficient, clean, gorgeous hostel. Take bug spray, its near a river. We were bitten.
