Mosaic Hostel

Rome, Italy

Clean and modern/refurbished hostel with a nice breakfast included. Rooms go up to the 5th floor but there is a lift thankfully. WiFi was decent throughout. No real complaints. I would reccomend this hostel. Only downside might be the common areas. They are a bit small and not a super inviting place where people want to hang out/meet other travelers. If thats something important to you thats the only downside I can see.

Tatamka Hostel

Warsaw, Poland

Good hostel overall. Larger size hostel. Most floors have refurbished toilots and showers. Lockers included with small deposit. Free laundry which is a nice plus if you are on a longer trip. They were able to print some documents for me as well and didn't charge. Also free towels included so some nice little perks. WiFi was decent throughout including rooms and common area. Location is good. Between the "centre" area and old town. Everywhere is pretty much walkable.

Jimmy Jumps House/Hostel

Vilnius, Lithuania

Overall hostel is nice and i would probably recommend it to others. Hostel is split into two sides. WiFi was good throughout. Breakfast is literally only waffles. It is included which is nice but don't expect anything else. Bathroom were clean enough looking but the showers I used tended to have that mouldy/damp smell. This was on the opposite side from main reception. Also at night they move recepton to other side. Can be very noisy if you are in dorm by that entrance. Location is very central.

Old Town Alur Hostel

Tallinn, Estonia

Pretty good all around. Clean, very central, WiFi is good everywhere, good facilities. Common room is in basement and may not be super conductive of meeting other travelers if that's what you are looking for, but that usually depends on who is there when you are anyways. Staff were pretty friendly. Lockers included for free which is a nice touch. Hostel is in an old building with character but still modern. Would certainly recommend.

Hello, we are glad that you liked your stay here. Thank you for your review

CheapSleep Helsinki

Helsinki, Finland

Not a lot of options in Helsinki, this hostel will be your best bargan I think for the price. Everything is pretty good except for location. Its a quite a walk to city centre but there lots of transport options close by. I walked usually, not a problem for me. Security really good. Key cards for the room as well as your own locker which is a nice touch. If you stay in one of the rooms off the main common room it can be a bit loud till 12 or 1 in the morning.

Hostel Baccarat

Nice, France

Stayed in a 3 bed private. Was nice to have the ensuite bathroom and a TV in the room even! Felt more like a hotel not a hostel. No complaints overall. Staff were friendly. I would stay here again. Only negatves really were weak WiFi. Could only get a decent signal in the lobby. Also no tea and coffee making facilities that i could find. Not huge issues but something you normally expect nowadays.

Hatters on Newton Street

Manchester, England

An older building that needs some updating. Very drafty in the bathrooms and showers. Mouldy smell. Not all the taps work in the bathroom. The included breakfast is very sparce. Kichen is very basic. Internet only in the common room which has a lack of seating. No lift available so have to lug luggage up multiple floors. Location is probably the only good thing about it. I would try the other hatters down the road.

Our building IS very old, and we will take into account that we may need to have a close inspection of anything causing drafts, especially come winter! Thank you for bringing that to our attention :) Our kitchen has plates and glasses, cutlery, hobs, pots and pans, cutting boards.......but we will definitely install the ice cream machine and electric whisk as soon as we can ;)

Euro Hostel Glasgow

Glasgow, Scotland

Large Hostel. Huge Kitchen and Dining area. Not as small and intimate as some hostels so maybe not as easy to meet other travelers. The hostel has a bit of a hotel vibe to it. I think it used to be a hotel before they turned it into a hostel. The staff as far as I can tell dont organise any activities for the guests or anything like that so your pretty much on your own. Good central location and very clean. I would stay again.

Budget Backpackers

Edinburgh, Scotland

Very nice hostel in Old Town right near the grassmarkets. Old building but modern interior. Clearn facilities. Cheap Laundry! Only 1 pound for wash and 1 pound to dry. Breakfast is not included but they have some cheap options at the bar/restaurant. The area with free WiFI could have some more seating. Usually very packed. They have organized pub crawls nearly every night. Good environment to meet people. Large Kitchen facitities. Would stay again for sure.

Hatters Hostel- Liverpool

Liverpool, England

Large Hostel. Huge common room. Free WiFi is only in comon room. If you want WiFi in the rooms you will have to pay for it. Most rooms have in suite bathrouom/showers. Location is close to city centre and university. Tesco just 5 min walk down the street. Would stay again.

Lagan Backpackers

Belfast, Northern Ireland

Nice Hostel. Staff were helpful with finding things to do in the city. Nice TV/Movie room with a nice selection of movies. Big plus was the complimentary hot breakfast every morning. Location is just outside the city centre so still easy walking distance to most things. Extremely close to the Ulster Museum and Botanical Gardens. Only downside was the shower I used didnt have hot water both times i used it...maybe the other ones were fine. Besides that everything was great. Would stay again.
