Free tea and coffee and free parking made it the perfect place to stop after driving the great ocean road from Melbourne in a day. Would have been better if busier but we went off season so a room to ourselves and pretty much stuck with each other! Common room and bar is lovely and wephen busy would have been buzzing

Location would be excellent if not for the hill of all hills on Taylor street. Baggage holding room for before check in was good and we were allowed to stay on the day of check out until our bus left that evening.

Complimentary breakfast was great, lots of choice and lots of it! Rooms are fairly big and the staff were really helpful with maps. Most importantly close to the greyhound station! Also an easy walk into town and Lake Michigan.

Ensuite bathroom made the room deluxe but was tiny. Really good bag holding service, having arrived early they held them till check in free of charge and when leaving allowed to stay in the hostel till 9pm free of charge. Shack attack snowboarding competition right outside the door! Awesome atmosphere and amazing snowboarding. Close to greyhound bus station and can walk pretty much everywhere

I'm all for budget travelling but this hostel was one of the oddest experiences of getting to a hostel. It should be specified that the dorm rooms aren't even on the same street as reception, and staff should be willing to take you there when you arrive. Communicating with some staff was an issue at times as we don't speak Spanish. Once in the room it was satisfactory and we enjoyed our stay as location was very good. However kitchen and bathroom could be cleaned more than once a week.
