The Old Town Hostel

The staff was never there, the girl was sleeping in one of the hostel's bed with a dude. We had to call the hostel for her to wake up and check us in. The hostel smelled like smoke all the time. Also, they don't accept cards. The hostel has no security, everything was open and anyone could enter. We were there for 1 hour before someone noticed.

It was a very nice little "hotel" not a hostel. The location is amazing if you are on the go because is next to the train station (2 minutes). The only thing is that I wish the staff spoke English but nothing you can't manage.

Dockside Hostel Old Town

Security is non-existing. When I arrived the receptionist was leaving, even though it was still check in time for at least 10 more minutes, she went to the bathroom, the kitchen and never looked me in the eye or at least informed me she couldnt checked me in, she just left. Showers are also a problem, if u shower during the morning every body will know because u have to walk in front of the reception. Beds are super noisy. They have only 2 toilets. Good thing, there is a supermarket close by.

Luxembourg City Hostel

Luxembourg City, Luxembourg

The hostel is spacious and comfy, a little bit far from the city center but still within walking distance. Common areas are clean but rooms don’t get cleaned after every guest checks out, so if u are the last one to leave u will have to clean. Another thing is that prices in the cafeteria are not so accessible, downtown prices and hostel’s are basically the same. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but like in every hostel u never know who your next bed neighbor is going to be like … or sound like.
