Walk On The Beach Hostel

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Aside from being clean, serving great breakfast, having an awesome bar , what's truly unique about this hostel is the most friendly coolest staff I have ever met in a hostel - who creates a homelike feeling. Stefanie at the reception , Felipe at the Bar, and most of all Dominique the manager will make you feel at home ! They know the city like only true Cariocas know & they will connect you with all that's cool and beautiful. Really good place to meet other travelers if you travel Solo !

Stayed for 5 days. Enjoyed my stay very much. The staff is very nice friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean, towels are supplied every day and beds are made every day. On wednesday and saturday they make a very delicious asado . They also serve home made empanadas every day at the resto bar. Breakfast include good espresso or tea with pastries jam and butter.

Originally planned to stay 3 nights but ended up staying for 2 weeks. The hostel is located in a restored colonial house with 3 beutiful inner gardens. The rooms are spacious and are cleaned everyday. Beds are made too every day. The bathrooms are very large and comfortable. klaus the owner is a very commited host and tries ti make you feel at home. The restsurnt has good and affordable dishes.. The best part about the hostal is the generous bouffet breakfast. There is also a nice hammock .
