Good hostel, got upgraded to a private room, which I think helped them as well as us. Hannes was super helpful and friendly, always trying to give us advice and tips for things we needed.

Really nice, colourfully decorated hostel. Location is pretty much perfect. Super easy to get to everything good in the city. Well equipped kitchen for cooking. Could've done with a few more showers for the amount of beds they're selling though. Overall a good place though. Met some nice people there

Overnativa Green Hostel

We loved this place. Cristina was lovely and her staff friendly too. Her cooking is not only the best value on the island, that we could see, but also soooo delicious. Place was clean and tidy. Had info available for trips. Although everywhere on the Island does. Would definitely go back if we return to Ilha Grande.

Lisetonga Hostel

We really enjoyed our stay at Lisetonga. Located at the edge of a favela but is a safe, friendly and vibrant neighbourhood. Lots of local kids running around etc, music school near as well as a few different community projects. Gives you an idea of the sort of area it is. Short walk to Leme beach (nice), local shops etc. Great kitchen for own cooking. Helpful staff with all the info you need for fun in Rio. They were booked up one night so we went to Chill Hostel up the road as well, was good.
