Novella Italy

Florence, Italy

Far from the center and terrible bathroom facilities. Good breakfast, pretty clean bedrooms.

Breakfast was good, but no A/C, terrible bathroom, and location kind of ruined it. It was really scary to leave after sundown (walked outside for 5mins then came back in.) or before sunrise (got followed by a stranger all the way to the metro station). Wouldn't recommend it for female travelers, especially if they're traveling alone.

The Monk's Bunk

Tallinn, Estonia

Big party hostel. Fun atmosphere and staff... Loved the community dinner, pub crawls and parties.

Central Hostel Riga

Riga, Latvia

Quiet, dingy hostel... Found it very boring nad charmless

Jimmy Jumps House/Hostel

Vilnius, Lithuania

Fun hostel, great staff, even better breakfast.

New World St. Hostel

Warsaw, Poland

Hotel-like hostel, which was good and bad. Facilities are fabulous, but really not great for solo travelers. I was the only guest in the hostel who wasn't part of a school group.

One World Hostel

Krakow, Poland

Great for socializing with other guests, although I didn't find the staff very friendly

Tresor Hostel

Ljubljana, Slovenia

Cool concept, and nice hostel, although not the most ideal for socializing or meeting new people

Bled Hostel

Bled, Slovenia

Average, given choices are limited for hostels in Bled. Pretty good atmosphere, especially since the bar/reception is downstairs.

The Brit Hostel Zagreb

Zagreb, Croatia

Everything about the hostel was good... Just wasn't as lively as I was hoping it to be.

Dubrovnik Backpackers Club

Dubrovnik, Croatia

Lovely family-run hostel. Delicious breakfast, awesome day excusions.

Rainbow Marrakech

Marrakech, Morocco

+/-Difficult to find at first, but it's in a great location. +Hot showers -No lockers for passports/documents/electronics -No locks on doors -During high seasons, you won't have a bed in a room (you'll have to sleep on an uncomfortable mattress in the terrace)

Dar Rabha

Fez, Morocco

Excellent breakfast, good location, beautiful decor. No lockers for passports or electronics. Most members of the staff were very helpful and friendly, but one of the owners(?) was very disrespectful to several guests on the same night.

Aline Hostel

Chefchaouen, Morocco

It's a small hostel with a pretty good vibe. The owner only speaks French and Arabic, and will charge you 80dh/night unless you challenge it.

Tangier Melting Pot Hostel

Tangier, Morocco

Literally 7minute walk from the port, so save your money and walk to the hostel. Good: breakfast, location, security facilities, terrace.Bad: wifi, pushy guides

Euro Youth Hostel

Munich, Germany

This was one of the best hostels I've stayed at. Great location, fairly clean, awesome wifi, cool atmosphere, and decent breakfast. It can get kind of loud especially if you're in the ground level, but it's a youth hostel, so you've been warned;)

Heart of Gold Hostel

Berlin, Germany

This is a fun hostel staffed with fun staff. You'll have fun at this hostel for sure. Just keep in mind that the internet IS as HORRIBLE as it has previously reviewed, but everything is fine!

Overall decent. Room was clean, staff were friendly... Only complaint would be the glitchy internet and the small lounge. Since the lounge was small, most people kept themselves to their rooms.
