Terrible experience, everything that could go wrong went wrong. Upon arrival we learned that the room we booked (double private ensuite) was unavailable and we had to sleep in a twin room where the beds couldn't even be combined as they were separated by the door. We saw 3 rats INSIDE THE HOSTEL (laundry area), which was disgusting. AC was leaking, so we had a huge puddle in the middle of the room. They even charge you for a locker to keep your luggage for a few hours. Very very disappointing.

My wife and I spent two nights in a private room with A/C and bathroom on the last floor. We didn't like having to take off our shoes each time when entering the building. Wifi was not very reliable, it tended to disconnect. The free breakfast was simple but OK. Location was good and staff were friendly.

My wife and I spent just one night in a private room with a fan and bathroom. Wifi on our floor was not working and staff were unable to fix it. We managed to catch wifi from another floor, although the signal was weaker. The room was quite basic but good enough for one night. Location is perfect.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in a basic double room (#2), which was the closest one to the reception and kitchen. In the room we could hear kitchenware and some conversations, but we didn't mind. Fan worked fine. Bed was very hard and sqeaky, so we didn't get the best sleep. Staff speaks English, pleasant common area, wifi worked fine. They allowed us to check out one hour later (1 PM), which was nice. Excellent location, close enough to the market / party area but quiet enough at night.

A very basic hostel. Dorm was dark and gloomy, bunk beds were squeaky and not very comfortable, no curtains for privacy. We only stayed there because it was the cheapest option at the time, plus it had a good location. Would not stay here again though.

Perfect location, ideal for a short city break in Kiev. The private room was clean and spacious and even had a mini fridge. Friendly laid back hosts. The only drawback is a single shared toilet and a shared bathroom, so you may have to queue up sometimes.

We spent 3 nights in this place. We loved our room with a water fan and a kamasutra painting on the wall. Great location too - it took us 10min walk here from the train station, there is also a beer shop very close nearby:). Beautiful rooftop restaurant & very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the wifi connection was very unreliable, which was somewhat annoying. Also, we disliked the tiny rolls of toilet paper - I hated having to ask the staff for a new roll every day :)

My girlfriend and I got a double room with a balcony overlooking Alt Moabit. It was actually our second time in this hostel. It's excellent value for money. You shouldn't expect too much at 15€ per person. Perfect if you just need a place to sleep and you prefer to spend money in Berlin on things oher than accommodation.
