breakfast for a hostel was very good dont.compare it to a hotel breakfast, but you get coffee, yoghurt cereals and the usual toast, staff helpful and location the best you can wish for in Dublin. the bathroom was very dirty though, having stayed in hostels all over the world I usually don't care so much but this was a bit too dirty. If you stay longer the fact that you have to pay for lockers should be calculated in your budget, 24h for a small one cost 3 euros.
I really liked the storage room and that you have lamps on every bed. As a suggestion for improvement I would add more sockets, travellers nowadays carry more electronics than ever. But it' very good for a short stay in BRU.
Because the kitchen closes at 9:30 it is the cleanest kitchen I have seen in Australia, however maybe closing at 10:30 would be an option? Wifi is free, staff is really friendly and helpful and on Wednesday they offer free dinner. You can also hire bikes for free and there is a free breakfast- so very good value for money. Rooms have lockers and additionally they have shelves, so you can keep your stuff organised. I extended my stay twice and I would stay here again, if I ever come back to
The location is unfortunately too far out of the city and there is not much you can do around there. Its close to markets, though. The price is fairly good if you just want a cheap bed, beds were new, which was nice. Kitchen was good you could actually use it. The room was very cramped and room mates were messy, so i havent seen anyone hoovering the room during my stay. The female bathroom sink was blocked for days if not weeks.
Nice big kitchen, the roof terrace is awesome for BBQs, there is free WIFI on the ground floor, convenient location for trains and supermarkets
