I HATED this hostel. It's absolutely huge and completely soulless, it didn't have a great vibe for socialising, only one set of bathrooms/toilets for a whole floor of rooms seems like it should probably violate some sort of health and safety law. Especially when they often were broken or being repaired. They have these ridiculous bits of cardboard you need to show to get in, so easy to lose and be used by someone else. Charge a bit more and upgrade your security!

Hi there. We are sad that you did not like your stay with us, our aim is to give people the best holiday possible but clearly we failed. And we regret that your experience with the washrooms and our security was negative. We hope you enjoy the rest of your travels.

If you like having fun, chilling out, meeting awesome people and drinking then stay at this place, if not then Vagabonds is not for you. I booked 2 nights and stayed for 5. It becomes like a home and a family, easily one of the best hostels I've been to. Frankie will cook you amazing dinner if you sweet talk him and Pete is a sexy beast who will also be your personal bodyguard on nights out. I hated leaving, if you come to Belfast and don't stay at Vagabonds I feel sorry for you! Love, Simone

Kind of soulless, very big with lots of people living here and working rather than travelling. I didn't really make many friends. The mattresses are pretty thin. I don't think I'd stay here again but I guess it did the job

This is a really cool place, the staff are awesome and the events are good. It's just a very small hostel and I struggled to make friends there, sometimes I could go a whole day only seeing the staff, but I made friend with people at the other hostels, and it is off peak...

I really enjoyed my stay here, really nice social environment, awesome party atmosphere. The only negative was there was no real common room, the ´common room´ was actually the kitchen, so most people would hang out in the bar area which is a public space. Also the computer was a bit dodgy.

Thank you for the great review! Apart from the kitchen we have this huge common area downstairs. It is open for the public but that's how you can meet even more people and maybe the only chance to meet some locals. Hope you will visit us again. Regards

Staff were not very friendly, didn't really offer any advice about what was around or what to do. He seemed more interested in hanging out with his friends. Otherwise was ok, I think off peak season meant it was a little boring, no where to really socialize

Staff were consistently unfriendly and unhelpful, we started a running joke of anyone who got information from them being told the opposite/wrong thing. The 26 bed dorm was super cheap but you could hear the bar at night. It was really hard to meet people because it was a public bar and the common room was not really a common room, more like a smaller section of the bar. I wouldn´t stay again, even the staff could be heard complaining about each other
