The hostels are in fairly rickety bamboo huts with nails sticking out of the floor....but the hostel had a good atmosphere, lots of people around all the time. It would be nice if the rooms had locks, but they provide lockers for valuables, so I at least could put away my valuables

Hey, thank you for leaving us a comment. We are very happy you like the atmosphere and many new friends you made  Yes we stopped giving keys to only our 12 bed dorm because it was never locked and people kept losing their key. We went to check and yes found a small nail popping out the floor board which was fixed straight away, we will keep a good eye on all the floors from now on. Have a safe travel and we hope to see you again on your next trip

Chiang Mai, Thailand

Great hostel, friendly staff, good location for night market (but not the old city). Loved the emphasis on art and ethical treatment of elephants.

Mojito House

Chiang Mai, Thailand

Great place. Best value for money I've seen yet.

Mangos Bar & Hostel

Koh Phangan, Thailand

the place was great! A bit far from everything, but the owner was very helpful in arranging transport. His cooking was excellent and the best value I found on the island. I would stay here again.

Samsen Skyline Hostel

Bangkok, Thailand

The place was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all hours of the day, the rooftop is an excellent place to meet other travelers, and I had no complaints about cleanliness or the bathrooms. It is far enough from kao san road to be quiet, had good access to river transport, and is within walking distance to kao san if that's what you're after. My only complaint: except for a wooden plank that I slept on in a Buddhist retreat center, this is the hardest bed I have ever encountered
