Most beautiful hostel I've ever been to. There is no better place to stay in whole Ollantaytambo. Location is no ideal but worth the walk :-).

There is no warm water (even though it's advertised). Cold showers are not the best way to end a long day in a cold city as cusco is. btw: Rooms do not have a heater .... which makes showering cold even more painful :-(.
This was a recurrent issue so on April 26th, we installed our second gas heater that will allow to have unlimited hot water 24 hours. Before we had electric heaters and they run out of hot water if too many people showered but not anymore :) . Thank you for your comments they allow us to keep improving!!

This place is beautiful but unfortunately it's all about making money for their staff. They try to sell you their tours and can not understand why you chose another one. And of course they don't "get a dime by recommending these tours". As soon as they realize that they can not make with you, they do not treat you as valued costumers anymore. I tried to extend for a couple of more nights but suddently all rooms were full. Later that day I saw people (who did not have a reservation) checking in.
Sorry for the poor impression you got at Aoi Garden. We recommend tours based on the past experiences of our guests. When we hear that a guest had a poor experience with a tour, we do not recommend it further because we care about the experiences of our guests and want to be your home here.We book the beds first by the reservations, by phone, mail, and online. When people want to extend while they are here we have to first honor the reservations already made, then we can see if we have space.

Very clean and beautiful hostel. WiFi does not always work... so you better buy a SIM-Card at the next 7eleven if you want to have an internetconnection. Location is okay... it's close to the main train station. Staff is very helpful and nice.
