Cleanliness: Poor; dorm room floors were clearly old and likely not properly cleaned, common areas looked questionable but bathrooms were at least average. Amenities: roll-out under-the-bed luggage lockers were difficult to use, pillows and sheets were outdated, internet was only available on the ground floor common areas, ventilation was lacking so you had to choose between a heated up, smelly room or a fresh-smelling ice cold room. No advice or recommendations given after receiving a map.

Amenities: Average; internet is terrible in the rooms which require you to go to the common areas for speed and reliability. Even then, the speed is fairly poor. Towels are free, and room is cleaned daily... But cleaning people reset the thermostat in your room to "off" every time so it's freezing when you come back. Breakfast is absolute minimum effort and they still charge you 3-4€/person.

Cleanliness: Good; no visible issues. Service: Average; night crew doesn't really want to deal with you, day crew is nice and helpful. Amenities: Average; decent breakfast, space heater only, nice apartment extension of the hostel if wanting a private room, reliable but short range internet, patio-side rooms are not rainproof (leaks under door), drop-off laundry service for 10€, community computers and printing access.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Thank you for leaving your comments. We have just installed new fibre-optic internet access with a more powerful router so we hope if you came again you would have a good WIFI connection. We are dealing with the water entering from the patio door. I’m sorry to hear that you felt the night staff were not as helpful as the day staff, we have spoken to them to make sure we offer the best service we can.

Cleanliness: Average; mold, dust, and dirt in the corners and hard to reach areas. They used terrible-smelling chemical agents to clean the main parts of the room. Amenities: Poor; internet was present but performed poorly, soap dispenser in shower, TV in room, basic community kitchen, insecure luggage storage process. Room electricity and functionality requires room key insert mechanism of which they only hand you one key.

Cleanliness: Poor; could smell mold, mustiness and visible dirt where there shouldn't be. Service: Average; slow check in, and very old and possibly outdated room/locker keys. Amenities: Poor; unreliable internet access, bad water heating system, push-button showers, funky power grid, poor ventilation and thin walls. Breakfast was somewhat acceptable. Best aspect was the key-specific lockers.
