Paddy's Palace Hostel Derry

Derry, Northern Ireland

A good place, but nothing extraordinary. There is no space where to put your stuff in the rooms. The bathrooms are quite cold, no heating at all. The kitchen and the common area are nice. The location is good.: the Museum of Free Derry is five minutes by foot and you're at the hostel after ten or fifteen minutes walk.

Paddy's Palace Belfast

Belfast, Northern Ireland

In general, it was OK. The dorms are small, but you can deal with it. The kitchen and the common room are good. The bathrooms, nonetheless, are quite cold. The location is good: you have the Queen's University at the back of the hostel, one square away, and there are lots of restaurants, bars and grocery shops in the surrounding areas, just walking.

Hostel Slotania

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Although located about 15 to 20 minutes away from the Central Station, Hostel Slotania is a good place to stay. Maybe not the cheapest one, but it's quite clean and comfortable.

Portree Hostel - Waterford City

Waterford, Ireland

Although the hostel is near the bus station and that I think the whole idea is interesting (I liked the common area), the place is poorly cleaned (the second bathroom had two spiders and my room was a little dirty), and the breakfast is not included. It doesn't worth the €20 I paid per night. It could be better, no doubt about that. All the best, Bruno

Thank you, once again, Tracy: I really enjoyed my time in Cork and that was, in part, thanks to your hostel and your help. Maybe a little far from the city center, but the ambiance and Tracy, herself, make of this place a good one to stay on. Thanks! All the best, Bruno
