To be honest, I'm not sure why this hostel rated so high-- no locks on the doors or lockers, stained mattresses, one bathroom for each gender (two stalls and two showers.) however the bathrooms were disgusting and never cleaned (I watched a staff member attempt to half-ass clean one of them), and the water for the showers turns on for 5 seconds with a button and then stops. You have to do that the entire time. On the positive side the staff was nice and attentive after I had a bad experience

A very charming budget accommodation for anyone! It is run by two Greeks who are very accommodating and welcoming. They will cater to your needs and help you in any way they can. Nice, complementary breakfast, free coffee, tea, juice; wifi is good; privacy; excellent view on the terraces in the heart of Oia! Will stay here again!

Very good breakfast, comfortable beds, enjoyable rooftop. Met some nice people too! Highly recommend and it's in a great part of town in regards to nightlife.

It's a fine hostel for what you pay for. But, it's very small. The locked lockers were a plus, even though all the bedrooms were unlocked and accessible. I didn't like that there was only 1 toilet for each gender and that there were only 2 working showers. It was also crazy hot! The provided breakfast and dinners were fine and a nice touch. Wasn't a huge fan of the curfiew but I understand due to the size. Most of the staff were good, but one was particularly unfriendly.

Great place to stay. Not the most lively hostel in regards to partying but great for us and what we needed. Rooms are impeccably clean, lots of info, free breakfast, helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again !

Great location, convenient for booking day trips and reserving airport transfers. A great way to be introduced to the nightlife, and free breakfast, dinner, tea, and coffee. One of the best hostels I have every stayed in!

It was a nice hostel for a Couple of nights. Right across from the train station, it's a good location! Free happy hour and private bathroom with the rooms.

Backpackers House Venice

This was fine for two nights but it's really just a place to lay your head at night. Mattresses are crooked (although sheets were clean) and there is no luggage storage, towels, or locks so bring your own! The man working our second day was very nice. There is only one toilet and shower for everyone, so use it when it's clean and wear shoes !

Very nice and reasonable price for one night-- exactly what we were looking for! Couldn't have asked for more! The only downfall was that the wifi only worked in the lobby and the lobby closed every night at 9 PM. There is a nice breakfast but you have to pay extra.

Academy Hostel

We loved our stay in academy hostel! There is a great free breakfast every morning, and free pasta and wine served at night, so if you play your cards right you won't have to spend hardly anything on food in Florence! Each person had their own locker which was wonderful and very secure. Rooms, sheets, bathrooms are cleaned on a daily basis. You're required to leave the hostel during the day so they can clean, and there is no stove for cooking, but otherwise it's an amazing place!

This is a great hostel. I was only here for one night and wanted to stay longer! The rooms are clean and safe with private clean bathrooms and sheets (only downside is that no towels see provided.) there is wifi and excellent free breakfast in the morning to start your day as well as friendly and helpful staff. The excellent prime location is close to the train station and main metro hub. I would definitely recommend this hostel and stay here again!

I was only here for one night but it seemed like a nice place, although it's very quiet at night.
