A very nice hostel but it is expensive for the area and there is absolutely nothing to do in this small town.

Very quiet, a little out of town but a lovely clean place to rest if you want tranquility. Breakfast is steep compared to local options in town at 6USD/person. Activities are similarly expensive ranging from 30USD to paddle board and 60USD for a waterfall day out but if you have the cash a nice place to holiday

A nice place in a good little breezy spot up a hill. Lovely outdoor kitchen and seating area BUT the shower flowed over onto the floor of the room and the staff weren't very helpful or pleasant so not full marks!

We loved this place. if you are looking for clean, comfortable, quiet AND a swimming pool then look no further. Gerry (owner) is great and will help with travel info and suggestions on where to go and what to eat. The lake day out was amazing and the restaurant where he eats most night was delicious.

Great location and lovely ladies who clean and cook. The bathroom is a bit old and mouldy and the toilets are frequently blocked but the upstairs sitting area has a glass roof so it lovely to sit and relax! Good out weights the bad for us

We only stayed one night so can't comment on much bar a comfortable bed and a very nice receptionist. We arrived really late at night and the staff arranged us a taxi from the airport which was great. We arrived two hours late and the taxi driver was still smiling! Note to all travellers Quito international airport is nowhere near the city, the 30usd cab ride is over one hour and worth every penny since airport taxis were 35

Nice lounge room and common areas but the staff are a bit too militant for me, there are lots of unneccessary rules that are enforced at ever point imaginable. The cleaning lady who is lovely has a very badly behaved child who sits in the common room annoying guests on a morning - not ideal!

Nice and clean and the room was massive (double at the front of the house). Th owner is absolutely lovely and can't do enough to help. Breakfast was yummy (pancakes) and was served out in the garden area. My only complaint would be that there is no room to socialize so you will be unlikely to meet other travelers here. That said it was a lovely break from a hectic schedule for us

We had a private double on the ground floor and it was BY FAR the cleanest place we have stayed in. The maid comes in to clean every day and changed the towels every other day. The hostel was built recently when they moved location so benefits from all new beds/furniture. It has lockable drawers and excellent air con. There is a delicious restaurant just down the street called Hoi Ka. Not a social hostel and no comfy seats to sit in an relax in communal areas
