My girlfriend and I intended to stay here just for two days in November, but ended up staying 5 and wish it could have been longer. Everyone there was really helpful when it came to renting a motorbike and scheduling activities. Also the free bicycles come in clutch when you want to go to the old town or beach. And, in addition to being awesome hosts, there was great breakfast and a really cute dog. Overall, this is a great place to stay.

This hostel is in a great location, about a five minute walk from zhongshan tourist street, Taiwan snack street, and the ferry to Gulangyu. Because it's located in a back alley, you might have some trouble finding it, but you'll probably end up enjoying yourself as you walk through the maze of houses, chicken cages, and shops. I found the beds and facilities pretty standard for China. All around, a good place. Thanks!

Stayed here for three nights. Great location, right off of west street. The staff were very helpful. They helped us book bicycles, a bamboo raft down the river, and were able to answer any random questions we had. The hostel has a lot of natural light and a great feel, though it definitely isn't the rowdiest of hostels. The bed was probably the comfiest i've slept in since moving to China. All in all, it's a good atmosphere for relaxing and plotting the next day's adventure.
hi there, thanks for your highly recommend. We are glad to make you have a nice trip in yangshuo. Welcome back! Sean

Kelly's Courtyard is a nice, quiet hostel within walking distance of Tiananmen Square and line 4 of the subway. The staff was very helpful and prompt with service. The manager, Bob, speaks good english and didn't fail us with directions or recommendations. Though I haven't traveled too much in China, Kelly's had a more homey vibe than most hostels I've been to. Definitely a good spot if you want a quiet and comfortable place to recharge while in Beijing.
