We absolutely loved Lazy Bones!! Staff were amazing (especially Kaye!), very helpful and really friendly. Lots of free things to do, even when there isn't an organised event you can relax in the bar area and play mahjong or meet other travellers. Rooms were clean with good facilities (including an electric blanket!!), bins changed daily and a fresh toilet roll provided. Great location and food searved in bar area tasty at reasonable prices. Would definitely return, thank you Lazy Bones!!
Room very small but clean. No cafe/restaurant so not a great place if you're looking to meet other travellers and the extremely expensive Belgium bar only opens after 17.00. If you have a shared bathroom you'll probably be located directly under the bar therefore will hear the glorious racket blasting out at early hours of the morning. There was also a 'shortage or natural gases' the week we stayed so hot water and heating was usually not working. Staff however were really nice and helpful.
Great location, inside the city wall and free pick up/drop off to/from the train station! Bob the manager gave us a free room upgrade to the nicest room in the hostel (and that it definitely was, we felt like royalty)!! Restaurant area pretty cold however, it was -12 when we stayed! Underground castle trip slightly misleading, double check what's included before you confirm.
