50,000 a night, they don't care about the deposit to hostel world. So prebook only one night. Wifi was hard to get on but just unplug the router and replug it. Toilet didn't flush well. Common area is green and pretty but rooms were rundown. Breakfast was ok, free tea and black coffee all day. Cheap about the milk. Very confusing place, locker needs 10,000 deposit. Planned to stay for only one night but end up staying for three nights here due to great roommates
All the staff were great. Small house, three rooms, total of 12 beds. Comfortable and easy to meet people and I stayed there for 6 nights. Good location, good for solo travlers.
Not a great place for solo travler, hard to meet anyone. It is a pretty place and they will pick you up from the bus station for free. Basic single room was one bed and a fan, very depressing looking. Dining area was pretty and tropical looking. Generally it was quite and dead even at the top of the traveling season.
The cars outside were very loud, even at the forth floor. Make it hard to sleep at night. Love this place except that they charge me double the bus ticket price when I booked a bus with them. So their travel desk was expensive. Easy place to meet people and common room was comfortable.
It is only a five min walk from the club area and food area. Jessica was really helpful with everything. I had a great stay here. Their food was okay but there are so many great resturants in the area, especially dai food.
Great place to stay, great owners! Dali is amazing! Clean, simple, friendly, and homey.
Second time staying at this hostel. Kevin and Diane were great. Help with directions around city and made bar and resturant recommendation.
The staff were indifferent, the food was good. There were pool table, dart and computers. Bed had currents, which were nice. But the hostel is old and the bedding was very old. it is a nice location for emei mountain and an 1 hour bus ride away from leshan for giant buddha. Bathrooms are inside the room and it has sewage smell.
The staff, especially Harry and Ashley, were amazing!! They help me book varies things and help me with direction around the city. This hostel had amazing shower and hotel towel and slippers. 4 people dorm were much better than the 6 people dorm and not much extra in money. Chengdu is my favorite city because of the hostel and the staff! The location is also good because it is right around the corner from the bus station that goes to various tourist spots in Sichuan.
The private rooms had smelly bathroom, we had to open the window during the winter time to air out the room. It was spacier compare to the dorms. The lounge area had chairs and tv, nothing much, kitchen was not open, public bathroom on the first floor was dirty. Third floor had cleaner public bathrooms. Dorms are so small, there is about three feet of space between the beds. They have boots for sale, and green communist coats to rent.
The people working at the cafe/bar was really nice. The private room was on the small side. But there was wifi in the room, very slow wifi. They told me it was an 30 min walk from Tiananmen square but more like one hour. There is a morning market right outside that sells fruits and breakfast stuff that is cheap. It is a few train stops away from most of the famous sights in Beijing. It was hard to get a taxi due to the address being a small street, so if you take a taxi, find the major roads.
We went in January and most of the shops in the old city was closed. Everyone left due to the lack of tourist. The locks on the room was weird, if you leave, it is lock from the outside and the person on the inside is lock in. If the person on the inside lock it, your key can not open the door and you will have to wake them up. They have a cheap 10rmb breakfast with questionable food. The room is very clean and the bathroom does not smell. One of the cutest and best room hostel we stay in.
The bathroom smelled awful, we had to leave the window open at night time and the fan on. The stuff were nice and helpful and we went to the Muslim quarter every night

There is a market near the hostel that sells meat, fruit, vegetables, and breakfast items. One guy makes this huge crepe and puts youtiao or rectangle fried thing , cilantro, egg, and other spices on it. He wraps it and cuts it in half. The best thing I have even eaten in China. I tried it in other cities, and no one can match him. So please go try it, you won't regret it. It was so cheap as well. The hostel's private rooms were really nice and spacious. It also had a hairdryer in the room.
